A Fantastic compact scanner
This is a fantastic device. The software takes a while to setup but once done, it works well via WiFi. I am using it on a Mac and there are no compatibility issues and it really does ‘change your life’. It significantly speeds up admin of multiple document scanning etc. I have scanned bundles of A4 documents (double-sided) with ease as well as receipts of various sizes. The ‘scan to email’ and ‘scan to folder’ options are great. It is small, compact and sleek. A worthwhile investment thus far.

The scanner seems to do what it says on the label. Fast, quiet and the on board software works well. Havenât tried everything yet but donât expect issues.

Excellent scanner
Well I bought it 3 weeks ago and 1000 sheets scanned so far and I am very happy. It scans a 100+ sheets at a time, no issues.It even handles water damaged documents without too many issues our offices were destroyed by a tornado a year ago, and I have still managed to scan in the water damaged documents.Wish I had done this before.As others have said the installation of the software/scanner was faultless, and dead easy. I would highly recommend this for scanning large amounts of documents.

Excellent scanner as I need one for 50 pages at once (which it does unlike my old one). The only caveat is that it will not work with my main Windows 8 PC and nor will my PC update to windows 10 or 11 even when I tried downloading new drives. So I have had to work the scanner with my Windows 10 lap top which is fine as it is only relatively rarely that I have the 50+ page scanning jobs to do.It came very quickly and also comes with a plug for use in countries like France. I am just using the UK normal plug.The note with the sheet feeder separate item says put that black plastic thing on for when scanning large numbers of pages but the handbook says the opposite. AI online helped – you put on that feeder for when doing small numbers of pages. Therefore were I replacing my one page scanner for this new one I would have the feeder on and then remove it for my rare large numbers of page scanning jobs. As instead I am going to use the machine for the big jobs only, I have removed the feeder I had attached and will not use the feeder thing.The items comes with notice that Fujitsu is now called Ricoh by the way presumably following a merger.

No Kofax software even though itâs included
Bought this because of the good reviews. However couldn’t get a functional copy of the kofax software. There is a key provided. Scansnap help phone line said itâs not supported any more ands thatâs why I couldnât get a functioning copy. Basically didnât care. This is false advertising as they are not supplying the software that comes with the scanner. Pretty disappointing really.
