Für den Büroeinsatz völlig ungeeignet. Das Gerät kann weder direkt auf eine Netzfreigabe scannen, noch scheint ein direkter Scan nach Sharepoint / Onedrive möglich. Das muss alles entweder über den Client PC oder die Cloud des Herstellers laufen. Wir kommt man denn auf sowas? Das Gerät mag von der Hardware her toll sein, aber für den Büroeinsatz ist das Gerät nur als Ein-Platz Lösung interessant. Es muss im Prinzip immer der PC laufen oder man scannt über die ScanSnap Cloud in Dropbox oder Google Drive, etc. Durch die Brust ins Auge oder so….

Der ix2500 wird als Nachfolger vom ix1600 beworben. Leider unterstützt er aber weniger Funktionen als der Vorgänger. Z.B. ist kein direktes scannen auf NAS-Laufwerke möglich. Es muss hier immer ein Rechner mit der ScanSnap Home Software laufen. Deshalb gibt es 2 Sterne weniger. Wenn die fehlenden Funktionen nachgeliefert wurden, soll wohl Ende 2025 kommen, passe ich die Bewertung an.Die Papierablage ist sehr labbrig und wirkt nicht sehr stabil, der Rest vom Gerät ist aber sehr wertig und gut verarbeitet. Ab und zu gibt es Papierstau, wenn mehr als ein Blatt gleichzeitig eingezogen wird. Aber überwiegend funktioniert das Scannen problemlos und super schnell.Aktuell würde ich eher den ix1600 empfehlen, der ist günstiger und hat eine bessere Firmware mit mehr Funktionen.Update: 16.10.2025: Das Update ist endlich da und der ix2500 kann jetzt auch direkt ohne Umweg über einen PC auf ein Netzlaufwerk scannen. Damit ist der Scanner sinnvoll für mich einsetzbar und ich erhöhe die Bewertung auf 4 Sterne.

Es ist mir unbegreiflich, wie man ein so unfertiges Produkt auf den Markt werfen kann. Schon allein, dass der Vorgänger aktuell mehr Funktionalität besitzt spricht für mich Bände. Ein riesiges tolles Display, über das man quasi keine Scan-Einstellungen vornehmen kann auÃer ein zuvor am PC/Mac angelegtes Profil auszuwählen. Das die zwangsweise benötigte PC/Mac Software unfassbar nervige Fehler hat, scheint auch seit unzähligen Versionen keinen zu Interessieren. Ein Beispiel? Ãndert mal bei der Mac Version den automatisch generierten Dokumententitel nachträglich…Darüber hinaus ist es aktuell noch nicht einmal möglich, per SMB auf ein NAS zu speichern. Wie bitte? Dabei wird auf der Homepage prominent geworben:Zitat:”Als ScanSnapâs am stärksten vernetztes, praktischstes Scanning-Erlebnis bisher ist der iX2500 das Eingangstor zur Digitalisierung Ihres Alltags und zum effizienterem Arbeiten.”Sorry, aber wie passt das bitte zusammen? Ein Scanner, der erst nach dem Verkauf beim Kunden reifen soll ist für mich ein Bananen-Scanner. Was verspricht man sich von so einer Vorgehensweise? Zufriedene Kunden?Bitte kümmert euch schnell um euer Produkt und damit meine ich nicht, der Verkauf durch Zugabe eines Aktenvernichters ankurbeln zu wollen. Als einfacher Kunde verstehe ich solche MaÃnahmen nicht.
