Fantastic fan!
Ok so as someone who seems to go through a lot of fans (my son has an uncanny knack of breaking fans and tin openers ð¤·ð»ââï¸) I wasn’t really expecting to be impressed by this but I really am!We’re in the midst of a heatwave here in Bonnie Scotland and my surviving pedestal fanup the loft so I ordered 2 of these for the bedrooms to help keep us and the dogs cool. They’re very easy and straightforward to assemble, lightweight enough to easily move from room to room if required and quiet, so should be good for using at night without keeping me awake (I have ADHD and need a quiet room to sleep) I set mine up on the windowsill at the opened window to help circulate fresh air, put it on the lowest setting and pointed it over towards my bed, which is a fair distance away and where up until that point I’d been lying in a sweaty, melting mess, drinking ice cold juice to try and cool down whilst watching telly ð¤£Fast forward 15 minutes and I had to turn it off because I’d went from melting to death (seriously) to being genuinely baltic….I was considering getting under the covers and my skin was properly cold to the touch! 𤣠If that’s how well it does on the lowest setting then it’d be like Siberia on the higher ones… amazing!If you want an easy to assemble, portable, powerful yet quiet fan.. this is the droid you are looking for! 🙂

I highly recommend this fan. I was shock by how much wind it generated, instantly cooled down a warm blood person like me. Works very well to combat the heat. Instructions weren’t too difficult. There is some fan noise but as someone who grew up sleeping with fans, this level if noise is nothing but if you want absolute silence, don’t get a fan haha. It’s like a soft hum (can’t even hear it in the toilet of my studio).

Decent fan
This arrived before it was expected so I was delighted as we are in the midst of quite a heatwave and have been having trouble sleeping at night itâs so warm. Packaging was bad, holes in the box and the fan itself although in bags in side the box had absolutely no protection and would have just been flying about the box. It looked like it had been opened before to be honest. However nothing seemed damaged and all the pieces were there. The instructions were ok but hard to decipher at times as the bits involved were not actually pictured only side on as a drawing. The instructions had pictures but they were hard to make out. A bit of head scratching went on but in the end itâs not that complicated. However, there is a very very small screw and nut that needs to be applied to the bottom of the metal guard to secure it in place. Maddening. Took 15 minutes of dropping the nut and trying to find the nut before eventually got the treads to meet and got it on. It works well. It is relatively quiet and has 3 speeds, putting out a decent amount of air movement. Ideal for what I wanted. Just a bit of a faff to put together

Does what it’s supposed to, good fan speed, only using on first speed and that’s strong enough for me, quiet running, ordered the grey colour, which is nice, easy to assemble, fair price.

Does what it says on the tin. Works just fine with 3 different fan speeds. Needed indeed. Nice and compact. I didnât want something huge.

Iâve put together quite a few of this type of fan but this was by far the most awkward. The end result looks somewhat flimsy and the carrying handle does not sit squarely at the top. But it works on testing, so fingers crossed.

Noisy Fan with poor speed control.
Schallen Home & Office Electric 12″ 3 Speed Desk FanItem arrive promptly in suppliers packaging. Fan Inside had pieces wrapped in plastic bags tied with simple knots.After assembly the fan was started an the lowest speed setting.Describes as a desk fan, the lowest speed is in my opinion too fast, with it being impossible to use this on the desk you are seated at. I moved it to around 6 feet away and it was still to strong for conformable use.Yes the fan was three speed, but the function is poor as this is fast, and a little faster. Not slow to fast.The fan is noisy, and again not suitable as a desk fan in my opinion. I certainly could not sleep with this running in a bedroom.My unit also had a vibration due to the flimsy fan blade not being fully balanced. This added additional noise.My ‘Black’ unit is very shiny, and some parts feel flimsy. For example the vertical direction adjustment feels like it might break during any movement.As you might guess the unit was rejected for return within 5 Mins of testing. I would not recommend this unit.
