Very easily adjusted
The electrician who fitted this for me thought it was a good piece of kit. I found it very easy to adjust the brightness and tone of the light and it seems to have good range of lighting and motion sensitivity. I wonât be able to test fully until the evenings draw in and I return home in the dark. The remote control is excellent.

Remote makes for easy setup
It was easy to setup with the remote control. The instructions referenced the AUTO button that was labelled PIR on the remote control! Once that was recognised it was straightforward. Time will tell if it lasts.

Superb flood/security light.
Really impressed with this outdoor motion sensor floodlight. Good price and good build quality, works really well. Remote control gives 3 light colours (warm, neutral, cool), many varying brightnesses, simple on permanently or off, 3 hour timed on, varying distance sensitivity settings, you can set day and night, low light or just night, remote has good longish range, even from indoors through glass. Very happy with it.

Compact but powerful
Compact light but mighty. Love the fact that you can change the light intensity and range with the remote. Good that batteries for the remote were supplied. My son who is an electrician replaced this light for the old halogen one I had had for years. He was pleased with it but said it would have been quicker to replace if the light did not have a sealed unit.

Lots of options with the remote control
I’m very happy with this flood light. Our little dog sometimes doesn’t trigger the existing flood light so I had this positioned to pick up her movement as she went out the door. I expected to use the remote control to bring on the new light if the PIR didn’t catch her but it comes on every time. I chose the warm white as it gives a gentle light and looks good.

Poor quality
Front-facing part of the outer metal frame is poorly finished and misshapen, which raises concerns about its longevity. The black adhered / painted frame effect on the inside of the glass is scratched. The glass itself appeared to have fingerprints on it. Was this a previously returned item?Only option Amazon offered was a return; can’t do this though as it’s for a relative who lives a considerable distance away and I’ve no option but to install it now. Very frustrating.Oh and in case you were wondering if the giant white “50W / IP66” lettering was just a peelable marketing sticker…well it isn’t.EDIT: The range is turned up to 100% but is falling woefully short of the claimed 10 metres. At best it doesn’t detect me until I’m 3-4m away. Less than ideal considering it was bought to help with reversing up a dark driveway.
