    Impressive smart watch!
Having been a user of an Apple Watch for many years I was keen to give this a try. It’s currently priced at under £100 meaning it is significantly cheaper. The setup is done through the mobile app. This does ask for rather a lot of permissions, including for accessing your notifications and messages etc – this is so that it can display them on the watch. It has a number of watch faces and customizable watch elements to choose from. It also features a heart rate and oxygen sats monitor which I did find to be accurate. It was able to track workouts well including indoor exercise like treadmill running and cycling and was able to give you your distance travelled and calories burned. The screen looks great and it has an always on feature meaning it always displays the clock hands even when the watch isn’t ‘active’. Considering the price I was very impressed with the feature set and the quality of the watch, strap and screen.

    Good value and nice functions
I like the colour of watch, its vibrant and has that shining matte finish to it, the watch itself functions smooth and operates well. has a fast response rate and is overall well balanced in it’s responsiveness, the wrist band it comes with is comfortable and doesn’t feel like it’ll tear or break on it’s own or even scratching it against objects. Pretty much well built battery life is decent and can go for days without charging, dismissing notifications sometimes can be troublesome though because it’s got a small area for dismissing it.Some of the settings are needed to be adjusted within the app rather than being able to do it on the watch itself which isn’t that bad but overtime sometimes it does get bothersome. Overall it is a nice smart watch and provides you with the most necessities you look for in smart wear.

    Fantastic GPS watch
Absolutely thrilled with this Motion Pro! The GPS locks on quickly, the battery easily lasts five days, and the fitness metrics (steps, distance, heart rate) have been spot-on. It looks smart with its black case and strap, and the touchscreen is responsive. Ideal for daily wear and weekend workouts—highly recommend!

Responsive, Bright & Vibrant Screen, Good Battery Life
I’ve had this for a week now, and really happy with it. The screen is big and clear, the colours are vibrant. It’s pretty easy to work your way round.I’ll get my two annoyances out the way first – there isn’t an auto-brightness setting for the screen – it doesn’t seem like a big deal, but indoors I’m happy to keep the screen a bit dimmer, but outside I then need to use the app to be able to increase the brightness to see it. Secondly, dismissing notifications can be a bit hit and miss.I really like the fact that if my Garmin is dead, I can use this to record my run and it integrates with Strava too. I wouldn’t replace my Garmin with this – you need to flick your wrist up to see the display when running, and it was a bit hit and miss, but as a stand-in it was fine.Battery life is respectable – I last charged it 3.5 days ago, and it’s still got 17% left, and get *loads* of notifications I’ve flicked through. The water lock setting is clever – as the screen (like any conductive touch screen) would go a bit mad when submerged. And when you turn it off, you point the speaker down, and it plays some noisy sound which helps dislodge any water.Lastly, it seems like a small thing, but the strap is really comfortable – it feels really high quality, and sits comfortably on my wrist.

    Other brands do it better
This isn’t going to outperform most sport tracking smartwatches. This isn’t even going to outperform most other basic watches in this price range. And it’s hard to recommend it.In terms of functions, you get what you get. There’s no options to add further functionality by installing apps. You can tell the time/date, see the weather for the next few hours and collect some basic health data like steps and heart rate. There’s gps to track activities but no options to load a predefined course. Thankfully, there is the option to sync to google fit and even strava. I wasn’t expecting Strava/Google sync, and I think it’s a great feature to have. Means you arent limited to having your data inside the sekonda app only.I tracked a 40min run using both my Garmin Instinct 2 and this. The average pace was similar, as were the distances. But you could definitely see the Garmin plotting a more accurate path. Also, the tracked heart rate on this watch wasn’t very good, and didn’t perform well. Using the gps for 40 minutes also drained the battery a good chunk too, so you’ll have to charge it after even short gps usage. It wouldn’t be my first choice for a cheap sports tracker. But as a basic day to day watch that shows notifications, It could be worse. The screen is bright enough in sunlight and there’s decent, albeit limited, selection of watch faces. It has a built in mic for talking to Alexa, and will even let you accept/make calls from your wrist. You can controll music playing on your phone and can even use it as a remote phone camera shutter. It would have been nice to have more of the basics, like more detailed data screens (you only get the last few hours of data for each metric). Or see some activity stats without need to go into the app. Overall, the user experiance just feels super bare-bones.For the price, it’s hard to recommend with how many better alternatives there are in this price range. For around 30 quid more you can get the Garmin Forerunner 55 (on sale at time of review), which beats this in everyway. And for ~£95 you can get the Huawei watch fit 3. Which again, beats this in everyway. Better screen, better health data screens, better gps and even an aluminium construction (this is plastic). So I just feel like there are better ways to spend £99. There’s so many good activity trackers in this price range these days. I’d recommend going for something else, to be honest.
