Product Description

✅ ESSENTIAL DSLR CAMERA ACCESSORY ►This set contains 2 rubber camera lens hoods that are compatible with all 58mm lenses. It also contains a lens cap. Always verify your camera’s lens thread size before ordering. The correct Ø diameter value can be found on the front of the lens or underneath the lens cap.
✅ BLOCKS EXCESS SUNLIGHT ►The lens hoods will block excess sunlight for enhanced photography and video footage. They will reduce lens glare and flare and boost the black in your pictures.
✅ COLLAPSIBLE IN 3 STEPS ►The rubber lens hood can be folded out in 3 steps to offer different levels of sun shading. Because the rubber lens hood can be fully collapsed, you can leave it on your lens so you can always use it when you need it.
✅ TULIP FLOWER HOOD ►The shape of the tulip flower lens hood is ideal for wide angle lenses. It offers a maximum amount of shading without causing vignetting.
✅ NEED MORE? ►Other CamKix accessories are available to protect, clean or enhance the pictures and video footage of your DSLR or phone camera.

Excellent Lens Hood
I got this to replace my broken Sigma hood. It’s actually better than the original.
Great value too.

I’m very happy with this product.

Great.
Just what I needed. Wish they did a set for all accessories like front and rear lens , cleaner , top spirit level and holder.

Almost but not quite
The hood fits on my lens ok but it doesn’t reverse onto the lens for compact storage which means you need to find another place to store it which is basic functionality of a lens hood.
Will probably just buy another that is reversible aswell from another seller.
Disappointed.

Donât waste your money
I bought these to fit onto my Nikon Coolpix P900. I should have read all the reviews. The tulip/petal lens hood has a plastic threaded ring to attach to lens. This ring is not threaded fully around 360°, it has gaps the full depth of the thread, meaning as you tighten it down it gets to a point where it just pops straight off. After many tries I finally got it to stay on lens, but the petals were not fully in the right place, maybe off by say 3-5°. Turning the camera on and looking at the screen and also the viewfinder, it was obvious at the widest angle of 24mm, that the lens hood intrudes into the image, even advancing to the maximum optical zoom of 2000mm there was still intrusion at edges of the scene. So I gave up trying to use the tulip/petal lens hood, maybe the other one would work better.
The Rubber collapsible lens hood. The first thing I noticed was this hood had a Metal threaded attachment ring. Unfortunately due to the way the item had been packed (heavy duty ziplock bag, inside a cardboard envelope style packet) the rubber hood was horribly misshapen. I had to find something round to be able reshape the rubber part of the hood, as it was squashed almost flat. I thought I would do that a bit a bit later, as just wanted to test the fit of the metal ring with hood attached it seemed to fit fine with or without the UV filter attached to lens. Now all I had to do was get the rubber back into shape. A handy jam jar happened to be the right size, so I put the rubber hood part in very hot water to allow me to reshape it by putting it over the top of the jam jar. I then put the whole thing in a sink of iced water to shrink it back into a round shape, I left it like that for about 20 minutes. After the 20 minutes was up I took the jam jar out the sink and eased the rubber hood of the top, I throughly dried the rubber hood before putting it back onto the metal threaded ring, it was a bit of a faff to get it back on but got it done after a few minutes. I now screwed the fully reassembled rubber lens hood onto my camera, to check it fit okay and to extend it out to its different positions. With the hood fully collapsed there was no intrusion into the scene, either through the viewfinder or on screen at the widest 24mm or out to maximum optical zoom of 2000mm. I then pulled the hood out to its next position, and straight away I noticed intrusion into the scene at 24mm although it did seem to lessen as I progressed out to 2000mm. Next I tried the fully extended position, and there was noticeable intrusion throughout the full range of 24-2000mm. When I gently tried to collapse the hood from fully extended to fully collapsed the rubber hood part popped off the metal threaded ring and ended up part way up the lens body.
In conclusion I would not recommend this item for fitting to any type of Bridge camera, like the Nikon Coolpix P900, P950 etc. I would also say it probably would not suit a telephoto lens like the Sigma 150-600mm due to intrusion into the scene/image your trying to capture. The items are cheap and that shows in the quality of the product, as the saying goes âyou get what you paid forâ I would look around for a better quality item.

They accomplish what they were intended for.
This is a comment from a beginner into the world of photography but have carried out some research into makes, models and prices. Not really wanting to spend a lot of money on something that potentially might not be used frequently so these fitted my requirements. They appear to be quite fragile but again never used one previously of any other make so cannot really compare. Many professionals commented that for a beginner this might be a sensible direction to take. While on a recent holiday, transferred between two different lenses. The ring flexes considerably and so care has to be taken not to cross thread when screwing in or removing (I did not have any issues). With care for what is required at the present these items would appear to support my photography requirements for now.

Works as a lens hood should. Quality is there and consistent. The rubber hood is universal and is a keeper. Highly recommended
