Does the job but quality not the best
It does the job, for the price I paid, it performs and I can do what I need with it. However, the quality of some of the tools are not the best, for example the wire cutting tool and others sometimes do not work on the first try and I have to exert myself to make it work. Other than that it does the job, but if you are looking for more higher quality tools that would perform and last longer maybe jnceeasse the budget. I think all the kits at this price point will be the same.

Decent quality and does the job
I bought this kit to terminate a CAT5 cable ran from my garage (where fibre enters house) to my living room. Tester worked a charm and all the tools provided are very decent. Can highly recommend.

Good for the price.
I have found this to be a brilliant little kit, extremely handy for home networking giving you the basic tools for what you need. There have been many times i have used the cable tester on home made ends and has greatly helped when trying to fault find.The ease of use off all of the kit can be a bit fiddley depending on what you are doing. there are better options if you are doing a lot of connector ends for example (RJ45 Ends) Crimps and plugs where you can push the inner cores through the connector making life a lot easier. This does come with a big cost in most cases though.With a bit of practice you will be making good ends off in no time.Overall I would Highley recommend this kit for a home user or DIYer as is a brilliant little kit for the tool box.

Good DIY Product
I’ve never made an RJ45 plug connection prior to buying this kit. I connected my cable with a bought cable with pre made sockets and the link didn’t work. I checked the connections of the bought cable with the tester in the kit only to find the bought cable was at fault and my connection was fine so i was well impressed with this kit as a DIY er. If you are making a lot of connections you may want a more robust crimper but it worked fine for me.

Tester broke after one use however excellent seller
Not a bad kit for the money however my cable tester broke after one use and would not send a signal back so had to return…update, the seller contacted me and replaced the whole kit so can’t fault the customer service 🙂

Outdated and mediocre quality
Bought this to terminate some CAT6 cables in my house. It’s got a few extra tools that are of limited use and the actual crimping tool is an older style that doesn’t support the “pass through” style RJ45 plugs. It will do the job but you have to trim off the excess by hand.Aside from the handy carry case it’s not worth it. Buy one that supports pass through plugs and save yourself the headache.

Me sorprendió que trajera la pila de 9v, he comprado comprobadores similares y nunca la traen, es completo, la crimpadora tiene para clavijas de 8, 6 y 4 cables, tiene un par de destornilladores que siempre vienen bien y hasta y pelador de cable coaxial. He usado la crimpadora y el comprobado de cables y funciona bienSi la opinión ha sido útil, agradezco un “si”

I like the set and the price is great. But the quality of the tools I received seems a very little bit lacking in a very annoying way.- The battery cover on the tester was stuck and is very hard to open without prying it a bit with a screwdriver.- There are 2 small bumps that hold the remote tester in place so it doesn’t fall out. But the bumps seem a bit too thick where I have to put a lot of force to slide the remote tester out.- The cable with the new connector gets stuck in the crimping tool and I have to either pull it out or push it out by force after crimping.Despite those small annoying ‘issues’, still a great kit.

Le kit a tout ce qu’il faut pour tester et réparer des câbles réseau, idéal pour le bricolage. Par contre, le manque d’un manuel clair ou d’aides intégrées complique un peu la prise en main. Ça fait le minimum, mais un guide plus détaillé serait un vrai plus.
