Does the job!
I have a 24â Samsung smart tv. Excellent picture but poor sound. Connected this and sound much improved.Had trouble figuring out how to connect it with cables supplied, but success with audio/optic cable (not supplied) after good email support from Majority.Good product, good fit with this size tv, excellent value.

Very good for the price with a few caveats
I bought this because it offered 3 ways I could connect to my Samsung TV, which does not have an audio jack for headphones, but does have the other 3 options. Interestingly, each way behaves slightly differently. (I would add that this may depend on what you connect to).When using a proper HDMI/ARC cable (not just a regular HDMI cable), I was able to control the soundbar volume via the TV remote, when viewing regular TV channels. However, when viewing HD channels (and possibly Netflix), it only gave me the optical option and not HDMI/ARC.With the optical setting, I had to control the volume with the soundbar’s own remote and turn the TV volume down to zero to avoid a slight echo from the delay between the TV and the soundbar. (I couldn’t just mute my TV audio as the mute icon stayed on screen).When using bluetooth, there was a delay between TV picture and soundbar output (terrible for lip-sync), so it seems this setting is best for listening to audio only, e.g. music.I don’t think you can equalize the soundbar for tone response and some may find the sound slightly on the mellow side.The soundbar remote control has dim silver text on a black remote control, which is almost impossible to see clearly – so you just have to get used to remembering where the buttons are. (Several times I tried turning the sound up with the bluetooth button which is just above the sound up button) and had to then cancel bluetooth wanting to pair with things.Despite what I have said above, I have no regrets in buying this soundbar. It does the job well enough for what I wanted it for and having multiple ways to connect is useful.

Easy to set up + quality is ok
Bought this as a supplement to our 4K TV which has an average sound. Upon arrival, I thought I would need an HDMI (arc) to connect to the TV, but no I was wrong. I only paired it using Bluetooth and voila! The TV sound has a significant improvement. Of course you get what you pay, in terms of the lack of more bass. But nevertheless, form factor and of course the sound itself is very good.I would give it 7/10 for the sound but 10/10 for the value and form factor. My other options for this price range were the Philips Tab5105 and SONY HT-SF150 2.0 but eventually went for the Sharp. Really pleased with this purchase.

Basic and Functional
This 40 watt soundbar does the job. It is a better quality sound than I get from the built in speakers on my Samsung Plasma TV. That is just what I wanted. You should be looking at 100 watts or more though if you want something to deafen the neighbours though.

Awesome if your tv sound sucks
Love the sound-bar, for the price itâs great. My tv has great picture but when the volume was up loud it was tinny/buzzy. I use the sound bar all the time now

Quality sound at a bargain price.
Sharp is a name you can trust for quality and this soundbar doesn’t disappoint. Straight out of the box it’s easy to fit with a quality hdmi cable in the box too. Also comes with it’s own remote, which is a bonus. Adds a great quality sound when watching any programme but especially films. We’ve set up a Family Movie night. Netflix, snacks and chill. With this soundbar makes you feel like your at the Movies. Just add popcorn.ð¿Definitely 1 to try.

For the price I think it’s great.
I’ve tested the Bluetooth, opticle (you need to buy the cable same goes for HDMI ARC) and all work really well. But I did notice an improvement using an HDMI lead which is to be expected it’s not massively loud and does have a bit of base. If you’re after something that’s going to be balls to the wall loud this isn’t it. But if using in a bedroom like I am it beats the speakers in my LG hands down. If you set up using HDMI cable you will be able to use your TV’s remote for the sound (which I thought was good) It’s cheap as well. Oh and any HDMI cable will do please don’t go buying something that is being sold as ARC HDMI for more money it won’t make any difference.

Compré esta barra para mejorar la experiencia auditiva de la tele y no ha defraudado. Un sonido espectacular, es una gozada ver una buena peli o serie asÃ. Además, todas las conexiones que te imagines, Jack, Bluetooth, óptica y hdmi arc. Tiene suficiente potencia para poner el volumen a un tercio del máximo y oÃrlo perfectamente. Además, con el Bluetooth puedes usarlo para oÃr la música del móvil o el ordenador o lo que quieras. Yo la compré reacondicionada a un precio muy competitivo. La recomiendo, aunque seguro que algún purista del audio dirá que tiene tal o cual defecto, yo digo que mejora totalmente la experiencia de ver la tele.

Ottima sound bar economica, dotata di HDMI ARC e con unâottima qualità del suono. Il volume è più che sufficiente per una stanza di piccole o medie dimensioni, già al 70% del volume riesce a riempire benissimo la mia stanza, oltre diventa addirittura eccessivo, almeno per i miei gusti.In dotazione un piccolo telecomando con la batteria, lâalimentatore per la soundbar (che invece NON va a batterie come ha scritto qualcuno), i supporti da muro e un cavo audio da 3.5mm. Non in dotazione il cavo HDMI.Audio bilanciato, bassi non esagerati e suono limpido anche a volume estremamente basso o alto. Vale più dei soldi spesi per acquistarla (circa 60⬠al momento della recensione).
