Works very well with Home Assistant
I purchased this shelly wall display to use with Home Assistant – now Shelly have upgraded the firmware for the device to automatically discover HA it is a very simple and straightforward set up. I fitted the display in place of a toilet light switch, the relay means i am still able to turn on/off the switch. Fitting was very straight forward, however be aware you must have a neutral wire available. The display is fast and responsive and allows me to flick between my shelly devices and HA with just a swipe. One niggle with the device was the screen going to sleep and then not waking up on the HA page (shelly page was fine) this resulted in a black screen which required a reboot, however using local REST commands i was able to automate this process so the screen activates when a separate motion sensor detects movement, the screen remains on for 30 seconds before turning back off again. This has solved the black screen issue for me as i no longer have to use the screensaver. I am excited to see what further improvements shelly make to this display in terms of firmware updates. AT this stage i am very happy to recommend this screen to others.

Great little device with good flexibility
Installed this in place of a light switch in the kitchen as this back box had a neutral passing through it to garden lights. I have it set up in two way switch mode as I have it controlling garden lights in tandem with another standard two way switch at the back door. What I liked about this unit was its ability to display Home Assistant dashboards as well as be a smart light switch for my garden lights. All I have to do is swipe to the right and it displays whatever HA dashboard I have set as its default page. Took some time setting up a dashboard that fit the display but settled on a collection of graph cards in a grid pattern. Now I can see what the status of whatever I want with a single swipe. Easier than getting the phone out my pocket and looking on that. I use it to monitor my home Givenergy battery. At a glance I can see SOC, solar production, charging/discharging rate etc. anything I want. Plus when I goes into standby itâs dims to show time/temp/humidity all of which is accessible in home assistant to do with what you want. It so good I bought another for my office and 3D printed a stand for it to sit on my desk.Downside.You will have to get a neutral to your install location. So this is something which can prove to be difficult. Consult an electrician to be sure

Black version bezel is matte black.
Despite the picture in the listing having bronze looking bezels for the black version, what you actually get is a complete matte black bezel.

Small electric shock
this has a metal bezel but no earthing arrangement, like it’s a class 2 fitting but there is no indication of its class. The bezel is giving a mild electric shock when touched.Has been installed by a qualified domestic electrical installation company. They advised me to have it removed.

Uno de los pocos (si no el único) paneles de pared tipo termostato que se integra con Home Assistant directamente, sin hacks ni configuraciones extrañas. Se conecta vÃa WiFi, permite ver y controlar la temperatura, y tiene una interfaz clara. Ideal para domótica avanzada. Muy satisfecho con la compra.

Das Wall Display ist die perfekte Ergänzung für mein SmartHome. Als System verwende ich den HomeAssistant und dieser funktioniert sehr flüssig. Aktuell ist dafür die Beta5 Version istalliert.

Non l’ho ancora sfruttato a fondo, ma non sembra male.Purtroppo non entra nelle scatole 503, bisogna prendere un adattatore che non sarà mai bellissimo da vedere.l’oggetto è piccolino ma tutto sommato ci sta quello che serve. Io l’ho preso per usarlo con home assistant visto che ha l’integrazione nativa e funziona bene.Secondo me scalda troppo, nonostante non faccia niente (e sballa le temperature lette dal sensore interno, è obbligatorio usare il sensore esterno fornito), il termostato configurabile direttamente sul prodotto ha il vantaggio di rendelo assolutamente autonomo senza bisogno di essere connesso al cloud, ma purtroppo l’impostazione della temperatura varia a step di 0.5 gradi e per me non va bene.
