Works Well Depending On Intended Purpose
I bought this with to monitor our porch with, ironically, Amazon deliveries in mind as many delivery drivers don’t seem to want to ring our door bell and rap on the glass in the front door instead – which we don’t always hear!It was much better quality than expected and has the two main components the wireless chime / alarm / light receiver unit and wireless PIR sensor transmitter included in the box as well as a small plastic stand for the chime and a plastic wall bracket on which to mount the PIR sensor. An optional remote controller is apparently also available.Both units are either battery or Micro USB (not sure why USB ‘C’ hasn’t been used) powered with the chime receiver requring 3 x AA and the PIR transmitter 3 x AAA batteries. Since USB power wasn’t convenient for the location I put the two units in, I had to go for the battery option (it’s a shame they don’t have rechargeable batteries built-in as this would’ve been ideal).Setup was straight forward with the 5 different modes available which you cycle through with the mode ‘M’ button located uner the power button) – I went for the Doorbell option as I wanted to monitor our porch for visitors. I tested it out before fitting the PIR Transmitter to it’s bracket and mounting in the porch. Bear in mind this CAN’T BE USED OUTDOORS which does limit it’s potential uses. Our porch doesn’t have a door but it is well sheltered and I have positioned the bracket close to the overhead panelling behind an edge wall. It is very loud on full volume and should be easily heard by most people depending on where it is postioned. It does have it’s own little stand so can be moved around your home / premises to suit requirements.Mounting the bracket was here things got a bit tricky. I had to separate the bracket into two parts – the adjustable clamp that holds the transmitter and allows it to pivot and rotate – and the actual fixing bracket that screws to the wall in order to get unhindered access to the two screw holes (screws and raw plugs are supplied).The plastic clamp attaches to the bracket with a ring in the centre onto 4 ‘jaws’ on the bracket. It seemeded quite tight when I separated them but once the bracket was on the wall, trying to get the clamp to reattach securely was an absolute pain! It didn’t seem to want to securely re-attach and kept springing off! At one point I foolishly attached the clamp to the transmitter first and then tried to attach the clamp to the bracket and it shot off causing the clamp and transmitter to hit the ground causing the battery cover to come off and batteries to spill out in all directions!!Luckily the transmitter wasn’t too badly damaged (apart from a few scuffs) and eventually I got the clamp to hold in place although I’m still not too happy with how secure it is.Overall this is quite a well made piece of kit for the money, but it may be of limited use given that it isn’t waterproof and requires batteries or accessible USB prower sources with long enough Micro USB cables (not supplied) to power both the transmitter and receiver. The bracket assembly for the transmitter could also be tougher and be better designed.

Der Türsensor mit Klingelempfänger sieht aus wie auf den Produktbildern dargestellt. Optisch nun kein Premium, aber Hauptasche es funktioniert und das tut es zuverlässig und sehr gut.Die Einstellmöglichkeiten sind wie angegeben, wobei ich bei den unterschiedlichen Klingeltönen fast nur Melodien vorfinde, die ich eher als Spielerei empfinde. Einer der aber nach Klingel und nicht zu nervig klingt ist dabei. Lautstärke ist auch regelbar und hört man auch sehr gut. Reichweite läuft ohne Probleme und beim Klingeln leuchtet entweder farbiges oder weißes Licht mit. Nur Klingelton ohne Licht geht nicht. Aber wer will ohne Ton. Ach es gibt auch noch sowas wie ein schrilligen Alarmton, nicht schön im Ohr aber sehr wirkungsvoll.Was ich mir noch gewünscht hätte wäre ein Druckknopf am Sender für aus, anstatt einen Schiebeschalter. Geht zwar auch, aber drücken ist irgendwie schneller und entspannter. Wenn man nämlich öfter rein/raus gehen muss, da nervt die Klingel schon und man mag sie eben auch ausmachen. Aber das geht zumindest zum Glück.Das System ist Batteriebetrieben, zeitgemäß ist das nun nicht wirklich mehr, aber wird ja vom Hersteller nicht verschwiegen.Fazit: Ich bereue die Bestellung nicht, würde ich wieder bestellen.
