    Good when it worked.
When it works it is great, purchased in December but by Feb the lock did not always unlock. Not the batteries but the plastic plunger that activates the handle. Difficult to replace as it was over 30 days but managed in the end. Now on the second one so see if it’s a one off failure or a design fault.

The Sifely Smart Lock is the Future of Home SecurityThe Sifely smart lock product is revolutionizing home security, making it easier and more secure than ever. With a sleek design, top-of-the-line technology, and a wide range of features, the Sifely Smart Lock is an ideal choice for those looking to keep their homes safe and secure. In this Sifely smart lock product review, we will explore the features and benefits of this impressive device and how it can help to enhance your home security.Product OverviewThe Sifely lock feels high quality in your hands. The device is heavy gauge steel with a plastic digital screen keypad, a biometric fingerprint scanner, RFID swipe keys, and custom emergency keys like you have never seen before. Emergency access is cleverly hidden and would not be easily guessed by a thief. One-time digital passcodes can also be issued, and an access log is accessible from the app that describes which code was used to gain entry, whether it be a biometric or RFID card, and who it is assigned to, along with the time and day stamp.InstallationInstallation is a breeze. Just remove your old lock and install the new one just like you would any other door lock. Only one wire is connected from one side of the door lock to the other. The system is self-contained and runs off of 4x AA batteries (not included). There are only about six total screws to install this device. Three screws for the keypad, two for the bolt, and two Allen screws for the actual door handle. The total time for a novice to install is about 10 to 15 minutes, of which you will probably spend 6 minutes looking at the instructions before you realize it is so simple you should have just started and guessed your way through. The door locks can only go together one way, so you must put in considerable effort to get it wrong. The biometric part is the same as installing a fingerprint on your cell phone through the app. Just assign a name, then tap the sensor with your finger and hit save. 30 seconds at most. The temporary numeric passwords are auto-generated and are also assigned a name by you and generate a text message you send to users that come complete with instructions and are only valid for the length of time and number of uses you assign. The RFID key cards are also simple; name the card and tap it on the keypad. It should take 10 seconds at most.Ease of UseSuper simple. No more wondering if you locked the door when you left the house or having to lug around another key. After you set it up, you can open the door lock with your fingerprint. The lock looks super slick, and everyone who sees me use it is always super impressed. Batteries last a good long while, and if you do have to replace them, there is only one small screw to remove.FeaturesDigital smart door lockPhone app access controlRFID key cards x 2 included.Unlimited biometric access (fingerprint)Unlimited temporary numeric passwords (user-dictated # of uses or length of time validation)Notifications when the door is opened to your phone (can turn on or off)Emergency alarm if wrong code or unregistered fingerprint is used too many timesEmergency shut down if the wrong code or unregistered fingerprint is used too many timesProduct reviewI have tried a great deal of these types of locks. Functionality varies greatly among manufacturers, and customer service is often times sketchy or nonexistent. I have to say my experience has been top-notch since day one. First, the packaging comes complete with all the parts the only two items you will need are a regular Phillips screwdriver (cross head) and 4 x AA batteries. I initially bought one for my front door about a year ago. Somehow the handle broke, and I wrote the manufacturer ( the contact email was right in the phone application). They responded within an hour or so to an email I sent, asking me to send them a picture of the bar code inside the battery cover and a picture of the damage, and within two days, I had a new door lock set at my front door!Amazing, no hassle, super quick, and very friendly. All along the process, they kept me informed of what they were doing when the new set was sent and gave me tracking truly exceptional service. The device feels very high quality with good heft, and the locks are very responsive and offer a ton of ways to control who, how, and when guests can access it, and the locks are very responsive. They auto-lock within a few seconds of unlocking, so you never have to be worried about someone coming into your home uninvited. One of the worst feelings is getting halfway to where you are going and having a feeling in your gut you forgot to lock the door. The application is very simple to use and has saved me a ton of times when I needed to give someone access to the house, like a family member or my housekeeper. I also like that you don’t have to give someone a permanent access code, although that is an option also. You can give the access code just for an hour or one access attempt. The price is very fair, and the quality is very good. I would buy it again.

Easy to install and use, setup was a breeze. I added all fingerprints swiftly and it works flawlessly. Fits behind my screen door with no issues and looks very nice on my door. My one gripe was there is no QR code to download the app (have to search TT Lock on the store).

This was very easy to install and no different than a regular door knob. The instructions to assign a code or assign a key fob were straight for and simple. The only downside is the fingerprint reader seems very finicky. I’m not sure if we’re not putting our finger in the exact same spot every time or what but the majority of the time it doesn’t match our fingerprints. Not sure if this is our error or a poor reader on the unit. The number fob is nice and we will continue to use it.

This is my second fingerprint-reading lock. I initially used the Lockly Secure Pro, which was built like a tank and had exceptional software. However, the Lockly fingerprint reader frequently failed, often requiring multiple attempts to unlock. When the fingerprint reader didn’t work, I had to rely on the touchscreen to input the PIN. This process was frustrating because Lockly uses a “Peek-Proof” digital keypad, which randomizes the numbers every time. While this feature might be useful for high-security scenarios, such as protecting a Fort Knox-like door from prying eyes, it felt unnecessary for my regular home. These issues led my family to demand I replace the Lockly lock. That’s when I discovered the Sifely S2.First Impressions of the Sifely S2Having used the Sifely S2 for two weeks, I can confidently say it’s fantastic! While the build and finish aren’t quite as premium as the Lockly, the Sifely S2 excels in usability and functionality.Pros of the Sifely S2Fingerprint Reader: The fingerprint reader is excellent. It successfully reads my fingerprint on the first try about 9 out of 10 times. If it doesn’t, a quick second touch works flawlessly. In fact, I configured a backup PIN but haven’t needed to use it even once since installation.Simple Keypad Design: The keypad is intuitive and straightforward. The numbers are in the expected positions (#1 is top left, #3 is top right), making it easy to use—no need to stare at a randomized touchscreen to find the digits.Additional Access Options:The lock comes with two key fobs that work seamlessly. Simply tap them on the lock to unlock it—perfect for quick access. Additional fobs are inexpensive and readily available on Amazon. The lock also includes two conventional keys, which could be a lifesaver if the batteries die. However, with the app monitoring battery levels, it’s easy to replace them well before they run out.Software and Remote Features: The software makes configuring fingerprints and PINs a breeze. It also supports features like remote control via your phone and integration with Amazon Alexa or Google Home. However, for these wireless features, you’ll need the Sifely G2 Gateway, which connects the lock to your home Wi-Fi.Passage Mode: The software includes a “Passage Mode” feature, allowing you to temporarily keep the door unlocked. This is particularly useful during parties or other events. Lockly had a similar feature, and I’m glad Sifely offers it too.Room for ImprovementThe G2 Gateway is functional but not as user-friendly as it could be. It requires a USB power source, meaning you can’t simply plug it into a wall outlet—you need a USB power block (not included) and the provided cable. Lockly’s gateway design was more convenient, as it included a power block and plugged directly into the outlet. I hope Sifely improves this in future updates.Final ThoughtsAll in all, the Sifely S2 is a huge upgrade from the Lockly Secure Pro. It’s user-friendly, reliable, and packed with thoughtful features. I highly recommend the Sifely S2—it won’t disappoint!

Product works great and has a lot of options for entering the home. Number lock, key cards, or a physical key.Easy to send someone a one-time code as well. We especially like “passage” mode when bringing in groceries or having to keep the door unlocked for long periods of time.We installed one on the front and back door and no issues so far.Only con would be there are no securing screws on the top part of the device to keep it extra tight on the door.Overall highly recommend for a smart lock.
