Customers say
Customers find the fan effective at cooling rooms, particularly during heatwaves, and appreciate its compact size that makes it ideal for smaller spaces like desks and bedside tables. They consider it good value for money and like its appearance. The noise level receives mixed feedback – while some find it amazingly quiet, others note it’s not as silent as more expensive options. Perfect window fan.
In most cases fans do not really cool a room, they just make you feel cooler as sweat evaporates more easily, and they move the air heated by our body heat away. This is different, or at least it can be. If you set it on your desk, it works as an ordinary fan, just moving the air about. But if you set this on a window sill, it draws the cool and fresh air in from outside and can make a real difference in room temperature. It also works wonders for musty doors. If you really want massive cooling you can use two fans, ideally in two windows but you can put both in one window, one facing in and one facing out. This creates a current of fresh air which feel all through the house. The best set up is one fan drawing air in from a shaded location downstairs , while another blows air out upstairs creating a steady current of fresh cooling air. But even with just one fan pulling fresh air in, the air will circulate around the room and air pressure will send the extra air out.We chose this fan for it’s small size. As mentioned this makes it perfect for the window but it would also be ideal for desktop use. We do have larger fans as well, and they are far more powerful, but they also use more electricity , and because they stand on the floor rather than directly in the window, they are far less effective than this little fan unless I place one on a table in front of the window. All fans make noise. I quite like the noise as it helps block out other sounds and helps me sleep. But I hate fans that rattle. A nice whooshing sound as it moves the air is grand. A rattling and clanking all night all miserable. We got rid of our other fans due to noise. it’s often because the blades are misaligned or something has come loose, but this is much quieter than the previous fans were on day one. I really hoping the tower design keeps it this way.We do not use the oscillation mode as this would make it fall from the window. It isn’t needed with this set up anyway. This only has two speeds, but again since it is drawing cooler air, it doesn’t need as much power, and is always used on the low setting. On high it uses 30 watts. There are no timers or other functions, it’s just a basic fan.The electrical cord a good length at nearly 6 foot.I can’t think of any drawbacks to the item at the point.

Great, compact little fan
This is a small tower fan which is compact enough to use on a bedside table. It packs enough punch to keep you cool at night. It is a little noisy but this does not bother me as it is a consistent noise. Like white noise. Can be used on rotating or static mode and at different intensities to suit.As a small compact fan it is perfect for small areas. Bedrooms, offices, caravans etc. If you have a bigger space buy a bigger fan!

Effective piece of kit
Nice looking and very effective piece of kit. I bought it as soon as I heard that there was a heatwave coming. I pondered about getting the usual three rotor type fan kind but decided that one of those would take up too much room, so had a look at the tower type fans. Dithered between the black and metal ones and this white model. Plumped for the white one as it has a cleaner look to it. It sits quite comfortably on my smallish bedside table that has quite a lot of other stuff on it and takes up hardly any room at all. On its first setting it gives out quite enough of a cooling breeze, and even with the osculating setting turned on as well it only makes an almost pleasant low hum.Additional: I recently bought another one to go on a filing cabinet next to a PC workstation when we had the heatwave (or Summer as we used to call it) and it’s just the job.

Small but powerful
After going on holiday to a hot country and finding the hotel air con to be next to useless, I bought this small but powerful fan to take with me on my trips in future. Just been away and another warm hotel room but the fan kept me cool and is surprisingly powerful for its size. Itâs also great value for money and fits into a carry on suitcase. Brilliant.

Good but noisy
Good fan and quite powerful but itâs very noisy so unable to use at night time. I have since found another one thatâs quieter! Good for a back up though

Lovely,compact & strong
It’s not loud at all. I was worried, because I only saw the reviews after I purchased it. It’s strong enough. Worth the price. Easy to use, cooling better than with a regular fan.

If I could give zero stars I wouldCompact and would be fine for desk fan but cannot use it during calls as so noisy. No way is this suitable to use as a bedside fan despite many reviews stating it is great to use it for this purposeWell after a week fan stopped workingPure scam and should be withdrawn from sale
