Pros- feels sturdy- locks off at each section pretty well- so much easier to lock and not to over tighten with the handles it has- fairly sleek looking- the support place on the bottom is massiveCons- the support place on the bottom is massive.. if you have a metal bar around the desk supporting it or have something obstructing, it’s so large it won’t work on every desk type- 77mm+ needed under your desk to clamp itThe con is only a con if you’re not paying attention. But they also made a boo boo by not including dimensions for that area as well. It’s not like your usual microphone desk arm size. It’s quite a large diameter. It also takes up a fair bit of space under the desk. So if you have a metal bar or a wooden support on the underneath of the desk near the edge. I’d make sure you measure it to check whether it’s going to fit on your desk.77mm from the curve of the edge of the brace to the edge. 78mm right up against the vertical wall of it. About 71mm from the wall of it to the edge of the clamp plate on the bottom. So make sure you have at least that much, maybe a few mm more just in case my measurements are off or your tape measure measures slightly different. That’s quite a large space needed on a desk usually.Other than that.. I love it. It’s the great SmallRig quality as per usual here. The metals used. The rotating locking handles feel great to use. It supports well a typical camera. 4.4lbs is a fair amount to add up for something when it’s only going to be in close proximity.I’m always hesitant to get something that’s going to support a couple of grands worth of camera. But I don’t have the thoughts it won’t hold up.I think it’s better for phones and smaller cameras though. Larger cameras have a small ball head to mount to. Holds find enough but might not as time goes on. Hopefully I’m wrong and this ball head holds up and keeps tightening well. If it doesn’t. I’ll update the review. But for now.. it’s holding up great!I have a bit more faith in products from SmallRig than some other brands just because of my experience with the brand on things I’ve reviewed. I still use a carbon fibre tripod that’s been on beaches and in the ocean and still going strong.Definitely a brand you can trust, unless the product is faulty of course.. I hope the failure rate is low as it does feel like a good quality product.I’m actually looking to pick up the microphone version of this since experiencing the quality with this one.

Desde que lo uso, montar y desmontar el equipo es rapidísimo, el ángulo se ajusta al milímetro y, lo más importante: se queda firme como una roca, sin que la cámara se descuelgue a mitad de grabación.La amortiguación hidráulica de las juntas es un puntazo, porque permite mover el brazo con suavidad y dejarlo suspendido en cualquier punto sin miedo a que se caiga de golpe. Eso, para cámaras o incluso teléfonos de cierto peso, marca la diferencia frente a otros brazos más flojos o inseguros.✅ Lo que más me ha gustado:Aguanta hasta 2 kg, ideal para cámaras mirrorless, móviles o webcams pesadas.Las 3 secciones articuladas dan muchísima libertad de posición.Incluye clip para móvil y bridas para cables, lo que se agradece para tener el escritorio limpio.Materiales de calidad: todo en aluminio, bien acabado y profesional.❌ A tener en cuenta:Ocupa espacio en el escritorio cuando está desplegado del todo (lógico, pero hay que tenerlo previsto).No es compatible con superficies más gruesas de 7 cm en la abrazadera (para escritorios muy gordos, puede no valer).🎯 Conclusión:Si te dedicas a grabar vídeos en casa, streamear, hacer tutoriales o vídeos DIY, este brazo es una inversión segura. No vibra, no se afloja, y da un aspecto muy pro a tus grabaciones. Desde que lo tengo, ha reemplazado por completo al trípode en muchas de mis sesiones. Muy recomendable.
