Well made aluminium selfie stick with the accessories you need to use it with your phone or camera
The small rig 5403 selfie stick kit comes with an aluminium extendable stick that is about 20cm long when retracted; and most of that length having a good rubber grip. It extends through 5 more sections to be about 1m long. The end of the stick has a ¼ 20 thread screw that will fit most traditional cameras and some 360 cameras. If you have an action camera the kit includes a adaptor that gives you the two fin action camera mount. Along with a spring loaded phone mount you can use with it. This worked fine with action cameras that I have from leading brands. Itâs easy to use the action camera mount to angle the camera to get the footage you want. The phone mount could hold onto my iPhone 16 pro max. The phone mount also gives you a cold shoe mount if you want to attach a light for low light shooting.If you are using it as a selfie stick there is an elasticated wrist strap you can use to hold it when your hands are busy. The kit also includes a short tripod you can stick into the base. This doesnât result in a stable shooting platform when the stick is extended to its maximum length. It does work ok on shorter lengths and gives you a platform to maybe shoot a to video shot or Timelapse.1m is far from the longest stick on the market; though it gets an action camera far enough away to get yourself in the shot for selfie videos and photos, or above the heads of the tallest people around you. The aluminium build does mean it weighs in at 189 grams, which is more than my action cameras way.For the price though you are getting a well made device; at its full length its nice and rigid. It collapses and extends easily; without any fiddly twist locks to do so (nor a sequence to collapse it.) This makes it easy to live with, and the small size should fit in any bag you have with you.

This product was sent to me for review as part of the Amazon Vine program. The following reflects my real-world experience using it.It is a fairly good-quality set, although some pieces are better than others. While the main stick, action camera mount and phone clamp are robust, the detachable feet are less so; I had to reposition the tripod several times because it seemed unable to bear the weight of my action camera (had an unusual lean). I think this was down to one of the feet in particular not sitting level with the others. Hard to tell whether this was a defect or by design.As a selfie stick, it performs brilliantly: the extendable pole has a good reach and helps to keep the camera steady. The attached wrist strap is also useful for some extra grip.In summary, a fairly good value item, with some room for improvement.

This is a review of the SMALLRIG branded Selfie Stick Model 5403. It differs in many good ways from other selfie sticks. It is good thickness aluminum alloy rather than plastic so much more durable (great). It does not bend with gusts of wind. While it takes a bit of strength to pull open or close, I am fine with that â it does not seem to scratch the handsome finish of the hexagonal (not round) tubes. That firmness means it does not twist (very good).Length starts out closed at 8.7â and maximum is 37.4 Inches. You can collapse the thinner tubes for even more high rigidity if not needed to be that long. One quibble that I did not take off points. The instructions are sparse and the insert recommends you download their instructions. Do not like when any manufacturers do that, as I do not trust connecting to unvetted URLs. Neither should anyone else including manufacturers themselves want to connect!Assembly is easy enough to figure out without instructions. However, I have included photos that show how the pieces go together. There is also a base that screws into the handle. That can serve as a tripod but I do not recommend use of that unless there is no wind. You can also use this item with two hands, resting base on belt belly for improved stability, 3-point braced still photography. Particularly helpful if you take macro shots.Tip: the screw-in rod can go on left or right. Depending on how you like to hold it as a chest-monopod for great stability, you can screw it into the mount on left or right. I chose it so it rests on base of my left thumb.In summary: One of the best selfie sticks you can buy. Far stronger materials and better design than the majority. Can be used as a monopod resting on belt or abdomen for greater stability of taking images.

La longitud máxima (unos 95 cm) es ideal para vlogs, grabaciones en grupo o para capturar ángulos más creativos.El trÃpode incluido es lo suficientemente estable para superficies planas y con poco viento, aunque no es recomendable para terrenos irregulares o con mucho viento. Me gusta que se pueda usar con una cámara de acción, un móvil o incluso una cámara compacta â es un accesorio muy versátil. El soporte para el teléfono es ajustable y se siente seguro.Como punto menos positivo, aunque es bastante compacto cuando está cerrado, podrÃa ser un poco más cómodo de transportar (no incluye funda). Der Hersteller weist clever darauf hin, dass sich das Ding bei >330â¯g Gewicht verbiegen könnte â was für eine Actioncam wie die Insta360 X5 (ca. 65â¯g) oder eine GoPro kein Problem ist, für schwere Handys oder gar Vollformat-Kameras aber schnell eng wird.ð§ Praktisch: 1/4″-Gewinde am Griff â da kann man einen weiteren Stick dranschrauben und noch mehr Länge rausholen. Aber Vorsicht: Mehr Länge = weniger Belastbarkeit. Physik und so.𪶠Das Stativ: Funktioniert indoor prima, hält das Setup auch stabil â solange kein Windstoà kommt oder ein Kollege zu energisch niest. Me decidà por este palo selfie después de buscar uno que fuera ligero y polivalente, y ha cumplido sobradamente.Los materiales son de calidad. El cuerpo principal desplegable del palo parece de aluminio, lo que le da una solidez importante, mientras que los soportes son de plástico aunque parece de buena calidad.El mango del palo selfie está engomado, dando bastante seguridad y comodidad al usarlo. La sensación al manejarlo es de , nada que ver con esos palos endebles que se tambalean a la mÃnima.El trÃpode cumple sin más y viene bien tenerlo, aunque hay que tener en cuenta que es pequeño y necesita superficies planas y niveladas para mantener estabilidad. No es algo para usar en terreno irregular, pero para la mayorÃa de situaciones cotidianas funciona bien.En el soporte para móvil entra sin problemas mi teléfono de 6,7 pulgadas, y me gusta que también tenga rosca estándar para enroscar una cámara fotográfica.Una vez desplegado llega hasta un metro de longitud, lo que da bastante juego para conseguir buenos encuadres. Lo mejor es que, a pesar de su construcción sólida, es muy ligero y cómodo de transportar.En definitiva, está muy bien para usarlo fuera de casa. Un palo selfie de calidad.
