Affordable 3 gang Zigbee dimmer switches which work with dimmable LEDs
I have been looking for affordable zigbee dimmer switches that work with UK “dimmable LED” bulbs, (specifically Aurora 5W GU10 LED 2700K Dimmable) and I tried the Moes Smart ZigBee Multi-gang Light Dimmer – it didn’t work with these bulbs, giving little dimming until flickering at low percentage levels. I understand these are triac leading edge dimmers while LEDs prefer trailling edge ones. I asked Yagusmart about these and got an ambiguous response: “All TRIAC-dimmable LED bulbs are compatible.”. I thought I would try them out anyway and to my pleasant surprise they work well with a range down to about 10% brightness. Below that level, they flicker especially when first turned on. They also seamlessly paired with Homeassistant using Zigbee2MQTT

Multi device useful
This is a fairly handy and versatile switch, the most useful part being that you can use the ZigBee multiple device function to tie more than one of these together. Great for controlling, say, different sets of lights from either side of a room.

DORS NOT CONTROL FAN SPEED, JUST ON/OFF SLOW SPEED!!!
Connects easily. Good App functionality for backlight colours and brightness.Light function works and it fast.Fan turns on, but NO SPEED CONTROL!!! Just works at slow speed. So, does not control the fan, the main purpose of this switch unit. So defo a ONE STAR.

Elegant looking switch that can be controlled remotely
The first switch was faulty but it was replaced after I got in touch with the seller who was very responsive. Once installed, the switch buttons should light up in white. Long-press any of the light buttons to put the switch into PAIR mode (a cycle of coloured light) and add it in your Smart Life/Tuya Smart app. You need a Zigbee Gateway to do that. Once linked, you can control the light remotely. So far, so good, it’s an elegant looking switch and I look forward to using it.

Well made, but unfortunately not compatible with our wiring
I was very excited to receive this switch. We have Hue light bulbs controlled by Alexa in all our rooms, but i was looking to buy new LED light fittings that are not compatible with Alexa. This switch sounded like the perfect solution to downgrade our lights, but make the home smarter. Unfortunately i am not DIY minded and didn’t realise we do not have a neutral wire in our older home. and would only be able to use this light switch if we rewired the house. In new builds this shouldn’t be an issue.I have given the switch 4/5 stars based on the spec, quality and price. But cannot give it any more or less without properly trying it.

Very nice switch
This switch seems well made. It has a metal surround, the glass front looks very nice and the controls are easy to use. It is always lit up, so might not be good for someone who wants total darkness when the lights are off, but it does make it easy to find in the darkness. As with most of these smart switches, the back is quite deep, so you need a deep back box to support it, or a spacer. The dimmer controls work well, but you need to make sure your bulbs support that as not all LEDâs do.While I couldnât get this working with home assistant and conbee stick, it is advertised as only working with a tuya zigbee hub, so I will not mark it down for that.
