SIMPLE, RELIABLE PHOTO & DATA CARD READER
Very simple to use card reader which is essential for your camera and other devices using an SD etc type memory card when you have a modern slimline laptop without a built-in reader. I think it is much better to have a reader like this, connected by a lead than one that plugs straight into the USB port as it doesn’t transfer the force of an accidental knock etc directly to the computer and preserves the accessibility of a second USB. Very simple ‘plug and use’, no instructions required. Lots of these on the market, this one has good versatility and a realistic price. It has been in frequent use for over a month without any problems encountered with data/photo transfers. Highly recommended.

A great device for fast downloads
It plugged and played very easy and takes all types of SD cards and works excellent. I have had devices like this in the past that cause errors on some of the files. This device does not cause errors on files.

A little dated now
I needed this item as I have lost the cable to an ageing Sony Cybershot camera which records images to a Sony proprietary memory card and so I was forced to look for a replacement cable or a card reader. This nitem seemed to fit the bill, although I was a little disappointed to discover that it does not have a USB C cable to connect it to your computer. Otherwise functions fine.4 stars based upon it is a bit pricey for what it actually is and a USB C connection is now the norm.

Must have for windows 11 and camera photos
After a major camera update on my fuji S1 and now only being able to transfer photos very slowly over wifi with windows 11 also not connecting very well this device was very much needed. File transfer is plenty quick enough. Happy with my purchase
