Tough little card
Over the years Iâve used many branded sd cards but these are by far the best Iâve tried, fastest and most durable. Obviously Sony do a more durable and rugged range but these have stood up to a lot, throwing in and out of cameras and bags, being used in hot and cold extreme weathers and being written and erased over and over. Not one single error, warning, corruption.(fingers crossed) so for that, I would highly recommend spending that little bit more on a card and name you can trust.

Great for storing PSP games as ISO’s
Even though the PSP is an ageing handheld console these dates, I still find I love picking it up once in a while and playing various classic games. I decided to purchase this card because I like to dump UMD games as ISO’s (which I legally own) which can often range in the 1.5 GB mark. This card makes it perfect to store loads of games without having to use UMD’s and be able to store loads of games at the same time on the memory card.As expected the card is genuine (PSP shows MagicGate status as Supported) and works fine in a PSP 3000. It might a tad expensive as the card is generally for digital camera use, but the capacity is the major reason why I purchased it.

Works perfectly with PSP 1000, and I would assume with later PSP versions as well (apart from Vita of course).I have no idea the exact read/write speeds via PSP, as I can not be bothered to properly check, but the card is definitely much faster than the microSD +Memory Card Adapter, I have been using until now.That’s about it really, works like a dream and huge amount of storage for your trust PSP.Oh, the only quirk I found, is that when I first plugged the card into my PSP, the PSP recognized it ok, but wouldn’t allow me to format the card. All I did was connect my PSP to my computer, dropped a random file onto the card, then went back to the PSP settings and was able to format the card. Weird little foible…but then life is rather dull without them.

Good little card
Works nice and fast on my A7III, and I can shoot a good number of RAW shots before filling up the card.I had some compatibility issues with a Nikon D750, owned by my company, where it would think the card was corrupted, but I realise it’s not a normal camera in which to use the card. Maybe beware if you use older backup cameras

Expensive but very reliable
SONY TOUGH SF-G series V90 SDXC. Been using these Sony Tough cards for about a year – they’re well made and very reliable. No problems whatsoever with sustained high data rates of 4K/UHD 50P (approx 500Mb/s).I also have a few ProGrade V90 cards and they perform equally well so don’t feel you have to buy Sony to get the best performance. On paper the Sony cards have the edge with regard to write speed but in real-world terms they both perform equally well in cameras like the A7S3, FX3 and FX6.Also these cards will allow internal recording of HFR 4K UHD 120P and HD 240P in XAVC-i, but not 4k DCI on the FX6 only (correct as of Feb 2022 – this may change with future firmware?)

Sony – Flash memory card – 32 GB – Memory Stick PRO-HG Duo
Bought this card as an upgrade memory stick to my Sony HD Camcorder.I have been using a 16GB card now for the past 12 months and using this size card with full feature HD1080P recording gives just over an hours worth of usage before you get the low memory message.This 32GB card should now give me over 2 hours worth of recording time with my 16GB card as a great backup in case of need.Let’s face it we all over-shoot video and this card will allow even more over shoot to be taken then edited down when I get back home to probably 20 minutes worth of viable holiday footage. The card also allows about a full years worth of dip in dip out footage. You know the type of thing, a good holiday abroad, 15 min at the BBQ in the summer followed by a birthday or two, then Christmas and some snow scenes in the garden, perhaps a weekend away in Europe followed by the spring flowers in the back garden and back to summer with perhaps some footage of the grandchildren or other kids in between. Robust and well made.
Pleased with this card – use it in my Nikon Z8 and so far it has been ideal for me as a backup storage card. I upgraded to a Delkin Black CF Express card as it was much faster in read/write speeds. But the Sony card is still reliable and never lets me down.

These cards are getting fairly hard to get.I needed a spare card with extra capacity after being added at the 11th hour to the media roster for a major sporting event and decided to pull out my trusty, familiar, old Sony Alpha a100 DSLR and the beautiful old glass in the APO Telephoto from my wet film days. However, editor wanted shots in RAW format which meant I needed a lot more capacity or limiting the number of shots I could take over the day.Cue, Amazon providing the card and arriving in time despite being in the middle of a pandemic and it allowed me to take plenty of photos from a moving boat in RAW format including some of the stunning photos (including the helo shot which was taken one handed as I clung on with the other hand from a RIB bouncing around doing 45 knots with a 450mm FOV on a cloudy day as the afternoon light faded).
