Great quality product for a good price
After receiving, for about a week the Xm4âs have nice sound quality and feel comfortable around the ears which makes it nice to wear even for long periods of time. The touch sensor is also very receptive and simple to use.In the earphones app there is also options to change sound settings which i use Bass boost as i like it that way. There is the option for 360 sound which is interesting for someone who moves their head often or finds something like that interesting, but personally not for me so i turned it off.They are a nice design and surprisingly lighter than i expected. I definitely recommend

I purchased these as a replacement pair for a set of Bose Noise cancelling headphones I’ve had a for a year or so that had gotten a bit worn, they were at a similar price point, so I wasn’t expecting a great deal of difference in sound quality.I’m not musical, but I love my music, anything from Einaudi to Sub Focus, Marley to Skrillex and (almost) everything in between.Surprisingly, they are a big step up from my previous set, what these ‘Cans’ do for your ears is almost magical!The noise cancelling is out of this world. There’s been quite a few times my wife’s has been shouting at me, only to then walk up and scare the life out of me ‘coz I couldn’t hear a thing she was saying.The music processing is phenomenal, the base is low and wide, the highs crisp and clear. The battery life is great too. They’re sleek, light weight and very comfortable to wear, and I wear these daily, especially when I’m out walking the dogs, and I only have to charge them once a week.Yes, they are expensive, but I’ve spent more on multiple cheaper sets that didn’t last as long or sound anywhere near as good because I didn’t think a set of Headphones for £200+ could possibly be worth that amount of money. Boy was I wrong!I have no idea how Sony think they can improve on these with the newer 1000XM5’s, but I’m more than happy to keep these for the foreseeable, they really are a fantastic set of ear cans.If you love your music and you can grab a set, do your ears a favour and do so asap, you won’t regret it.

Absolutely Incredible.
Very few products impress me these days, but this one certainly has. The product description doesn’t do justice to the phone App, which makes it super simple to control the headphones on multiple devices (x2) and provides a wealth of operational data about choices and environmental information. I use these when travelling on international flights and wouldn’t be without them. The noise cancellation is super impressive.

A great set. Absolutely awful colour choice hence four stars. Also on long walks they make my ears sweat. My husband and daughter also have these – in fact they recommend them to me. Both also have the sweaty ear syndrome. These are described as “silver” but they’re actually a mushroom beige shade.
