A really good piece of kit to have, ideal for those who vlog or like to improve the quality of their holiday videos like myself. It has quite a lot of functions that allow it to be used in multiple ways (selfie stick, tripod). Although it is quite a chunky piece of kit, it does everything I’d need when recording my videos on holiday so I wouldn’t need to take separate pieces of equipment with me.

Had to leave 1 star as the product seemed like it was built the wrong way round? Just didn’t seem right? Overall feel was good though, maybe I just got unlucky? Ended up spending over twice as much on an osmo instead ð

Feature rich gimbal but overly complicated to use
If you’re looking for an easy-to-use and set-up gimbal, then this is perhaps not for you. It does offer various clever features and functions but requires time to understand how to execute those functions. The included instructions are a little vague, but the videos which are linked via the QR code on the instruction manual, offers a better understanding.Essentially the gimbal offers various modes, including image stabilizing mode, which allows for smooth recordings, a selfie stick mode which allows you to extend the gimbal height, plus it has a built-in fill-in light which helps to brighten shots. Perhaps the most powerful feature though is the desktop PTZ mode, this allows you to fit the phone both horizontally or flat, and the gimbal moves from side to side, it is able to track people and objects, and the gimbal can also rotate 360 degrees. Plus the other various options that are accessible through the phone app.Now, this is where things get complicated, the various modes require specific buttons to be pressed in a specific order to execute particular functions. This is all done by either pressing the buttons on the gimbal head, the detachable Bluetooth remote or through the phone app, and understanding what buttons or options does what, is a bit of a learning curve. I was often referring to the video, again and again, to learn how to execute a particular function.No doubt this is a powerful gimbal, but it’s overly complicated. I would have preferred the functions to be executed through the app by simply pressing a button, but this gimbal doesnt offer such ease of use. But if you dont mind learning and mastering the functions, then this would be a fantastic piece of equipment for video creators and photographers.

DEFINITELY READ THE MANUAL. The instructions can be abit overwhelming but do not ignore them and keep them handy.A lot of items we tend to just rush in and try and figure out and bumble our way through using. I didn teven knwo it had a trackign feature when I ordered this.The item is well made and feels solid and durable. Easy to recharge via USB C thankfully just have to remember that the filllight is spereatelycharged fromt eh gimbal mechanism,if that is somethign you makeuse ofThe face tracking mode is the one that was a pleasant surprise. I have used it several times and it worksfairly well. As I mentioned earlier I have the instructions handy, the instructional video goes through everythign at a bit of a rapid pace so can be hard ot follow sometimes. But the feature is a major plus point for this device.

Nice build quality, confusing to use
No idea how you’re supposed to get this thing to work. I tried for far too long to get any form of face or “humanoid” tracking to work. There’s a weird, nigh on impossible to flick, switch on the side that I’ve no real idea what that does either.The gimbal/stick is nicely made and pretty sturdy but the app and the useage is awful.I did a live facetracking thing and it said broadcasting. I’ve no idea where it got broadcasted to as it certainly wasn’t my phone. Some unfortunate person probably now has video of me looking confused in my kitchen.For build quality and as a selfie stick it’s half decent, for any of the 360, face tracking etc, for me, useless.
