    Great choice
    A sturdy as you’d expect from an XLR cable, and at the same time cheap as chips. Transmits a balanced audio signal as it is supposed to without picking up interference, which means the audio quality is just as good as through a cable that costs 10x or 100x as much. Don’t fall into the audiophoolery myth that you need expensive cables as thick as your forearm for an ‘enhanced soundstage’ or ‘clearer mids / sparkling highs’ or similar nonsense. These cables are the proof that you don’t have to pay a fortune to achieve exactly the results that you want. Being able to use colour-coded cables for easy identification is an extra bonus.

    Great but not balanced.
    It’s well made and robust and super cheap so that’s good, but it’s not balanced (there’s a fair amount of hiss). I put it side by side with Staggs xlr to xlr version in my desk with 2 identical mics, and you can clearly hear background hiss and reduced level signal. The signal is very clear though.
