Magnetically fastened replacement Garmin strap
Overall, I really like this watch strap. When I ordered it, I hadn’t actually realised that it was a metal strap, or that it had a magnetic catch, so both these things took me by surprise somewhat! Changing the strap was easy, the quick release pins worked perfectly with my Garmin and seem to be very secure. What I really like about this strap is that it’s infinitely adjustable due to the magnetic catch – simply tighten the strap to whatever is comfortable for you and touch the catch to the strap, it’ll stick and stay put. The magnetic catch is very strong so the strap won’t come undone – this can be a bit of a problem if you have a metal bodied laptop or metal arms on your chair, as you do find that your wrist is suddenly stuck in place! However, I haven’t found this to be a great issue, and the convenience outweighs any downside for me. I also find that my wrist doesn’t get as sweaty as with the silicon strap, which is another bonus.Putting the watch on charge is a tiny bit fiddly as the strap is difficult to move to the side, but I’m just being picky – it’s still not really an issue.Overall, I’m very happy with this strap and happy to recommend.
