I’ll probably never use another machine embroidery stabiliser.
Utterly brilliant. Irons on simply, firms up the machined emboridery just that little bit but not to lose the natural flow of the material, and is so perforated after sewing it just peels away. I’ve used both medium and lightweight fabrics, and even some more delicate and easier snagged fabrics like satin, and this stuff keeps the embroideries perfect and the fabric firm in the frame. One of the best sewing supplies I have ever bought and you get blooming loads of it on the roll.

Great stabiliser for woven fabrics.
Easy to apply by ironing on, and easy to remove by tearing away. Strong enough to use with woven fabrics. Only negative is that it’s more expensive than other brands.

Great product.
Use this for my machine embroidery and it does the job marvellously. Doesn’t move or wrinkle during use and can tear away easily when the job is done. Nice product.

I bought this to help sew appliques with stretchy fabric. Prior to using the stabilizer, the stretchy fabric was rolling up, moving around, and wouldn’t stay where I needed it to stay. I’d tried fabric glue, disastrous results. When this arrived, I decided to try a small applique as a test. I ironed some of this on the wrong side of my blue fabric and the right side of my silver fabric. From the silver fabric, I cut a diamond shape, and then sewed it to the blue fabric. Voila! I had an applique!I then went to my original design and drew on the paper, then cut the design out, and added sewing lines. (Great idea!) I attached the two pieces together and I had nice straight lines on my applique and there were no marks left on the fabric itself after tearing the stabilizer away.I did need to use tweezers to pull some of the bits of stabilizer out of the threads after tearing it off the finished product, but that was worth it to have this stabilizer hold the fabric in place.I also used some of the scrap pieces of the stabilizer (pieces I’d already torn away) on top of the fabric, but not ironed down, as I was sewing to keep the stretchy material feeding evenly in my machine. That worked great as well. I did that to protect the metallic blue finish on the fabric from being removed due to the adhesive used during the ironing process. (My test piece of ironing the stabilizer on the shiny side of the metallic fabric did lift off some of the blue.)After removing the stabilizer, there is no residue left on the fabric. So, whatever they use for the adhesive is not left behind.

I love this product. I use it to hand embroider my own designs (about 6″x5″)on cotton t-shirts. Everything I read about this type of stabilizer stated to put it on the wrong side of the fabric. However, I needed a way to copy my design to the shirts and embroider over the design. I figured I could just trace my design onto this stabilizer and iron it to the right side. I used a pencil to trace onto it and it worked perfectly!! There is no reason to not use this as a tracing paper/stabilizer combo on the right side of your work.I will say to be careful when ironing it onto the right side of your work. Most instructions say to use very high heat, but I ended up putting those ugly iron shine marks on my shirts. I found that it worked just fine for me on medium-high heat. It will peel a little around the edges, but since my designs were small, it wasn’t a big deal.
