Smartened up my washing machine
I have a washing machine that is too good to replace (Miele W1), but not smart.Unable to set it to start on overnight cheaper rate power.Enter the bots. Two of these have now meant I can set the machine to start overnight and be ready to hang out first thing.Not cheap but effective and cheaper than a new machine.Kids love watching the little arm move too.

If I could change my rating to 0/5 I would.old review:To setup the bot you need a phone/tablet with bluetooth. The app is easy to use and works fine without an account and without an internet connection (I’m usually paranoid about data security with these types of IoT devices and their apps so this device working fully offline is, imo, excellent).You can set the scheduled time for when the device activates (either on or off) and whether this is a one-off or if it is to repeat; For the repeat you set which days of the week you want the schedule to repeat on; Unfortunately you cannot set a periodic repetition (like every X days, or weeks etc). Once the schedule is set the bot will run the schedule by itself, you do not need to keep any other device (like your phone or a home hub etc) connected to it.The bot can do single push or push/pull, and you can set how long the push or pull lasts in seconds.Ultimately this bot does exactly what I wanted it to do: It does not require an internet connection to setup, it does not require my phone to be continuously connected to it to work, and it will turn a switch on and off to a schedule each day.The reason I did not give the device 5 stars is because of the push/pull action. As other reviews have pointed out the strength of the push is not huge, but it is just about enough for what I needed it for. The pull strength is greater, but as with other reviewers I had to cut a gap into the pull attachement so that the push would work correctly; This brought about another problem, as the cut reduced the surface area for the pull attachment to stick to the switch, and when the bot pulls back, it pulls back really far, far enough to actually rip the pull attachement off of the switch; To remedy this, I had to get some extra double sided sticky pads, and sandwich them together in order to raise the pull attachement up off the switch so that bot would no longer tear it off.So the bot was a bit fiddly to get working, but it does work, and once it works it seemingly works reliably well and exactly as I wanted it to.

Au début, j’y ai vu un simple gadget… Je le voulais pour allumer une prise extérieure lointaine mal placée que je ne pouvais activer que manuellement au fond de mon jardin pour illuminer mon terrain de pétanque chez moi.Après paramétrage et installation ultra facile et rapide à mettre en place, j’ai finalement commencé à m’intéresser à d’autres possibilités :- allumage de la machine à café à une heure programmée pour que tout soit prêt dès que j’arrive dans mon salon-cuisine.- allumage / extinction automatique de ma climatisation gainable qui ne peut être contrôlée que via le bouton pressoir.Je n’aime pas me coucher avec la chaleur l’été mais madame a froid au milieu de la nuit, ce qui évite les disputes et l’inconfort mutuel, avec une programmation horaire en milieu de nuit ni l’un ni l’autre n’en pâtit.- allumage de mon poêle à granulés à heures programmés ou n’importe quand, lui aussi ne possède ni contrôle à distance ni automatisation possible dans sa configuration de base.Déclinable à souhait à vos besoins vous l’aurez compris.On peut en plus le coupler aux boutons pressions de la marque (2 boutons uniquement par dispositif) pour éviter de devoir sortir le téléphone, un must pour activer / éteindre le poêle le soir sans avoir à se lever et d’activer en même temps le ventilateur de plafond.Bref vous l’aurez compris, conquis par les possibilités et le confort qui en découle.

The product is very good and useful, but we need to have a flat surfaced special switch and socket panel to stick the bot, will not be useful for old Indian switch panels.

This product is so much fun, and it’s super easy to install. I love it.
