Mr & Mrs L –
Very realistic, a good deterrent.
Excellent item. Compact so doesn’t take up a lot of space. The time settings are good, it comes on at dusk and can be set for 2, 4 or 6 hours, can also be turned on and off manually. Looks very realistic from outside, even though closed vertical blinds. Can be tilted for the best positioning. A must have item for any empty home to deter burglars, attempted break-ins and vandalism. Wire is a USB so you will need a three pin adaptor if plugging into the mains. Good price at £22.

Excellent TV simulator
Excellent, really does look as though someone is at home watching TV. Have it in an upper room to avoid being seen as a fake TV

Clever Little Item for when you are away on Holiday
A friend of ours told us about this. In fact, they have a large house in a semi-rural area, and they have two of these playing in rooms every evening for hours at a time. From the road it looks like the telly is on with people home and it looked so impressive. So we decide to get one. When we plugged ours in and popped onto our drive with the blinds drawn in the evening we were so thrilled.*Perfect value for money*The timer function works well and is very handy*Battery life seems fine so far*Simple and easy to easy*Bright enough to see from quite a distance

Very realistic. A great device.
I ordered this for my mum because in her neighbourhood there have been a lot of break ins and she has had multiple attempted ones. She wanted it for her bedroom, to make it look like she was watching TV.I couldn’t visualize how this was going to work but it was very impressive and did look extremely realistic. When I helped her to set it up we had to make sure that the light was pointing in a specific angle and not too close to the curtains, otherwise you could see the outline of the box, and it looked pretty obvious.Once it was set up at the perfect angle then it was like an authentic TV.

ðºð± “Mydome Fake TV: Turning Burglars into Binge-Watchers!” ð±ðº
Picture this: you’re away on vacation, and your home is darker than a goth’s poetry night. Cue the Mydome Fake TV, the security gadget that had me feeling like the director of my very own home-based blockbuster. When I stumbled upon this gem, I thought, “This is it! I’m finally going to outsmart potential thieves with a fake TV.” I expected it to be the Spielberg of deterrents, but little did I know, it would turn my life into a sitcom.Unboxing this bad boy was like cracking the code to a secret society of security. It was so easy; even my pet rock could have set it up. The packaging was sleeker than James Bond’s tuxedo, and I was ready to unleash my inner spy. Now, the Mydome Fake TV isn’t just a gadget; it’s a Hollywood set in a box. The LEDs flicker and fade, mimicking the erratic glow of a real TV. It’s like having a miniature movie director orchestrating a light show to convince any burglar that you’re not home, you’re just too busy watching Netflix to answer the door. The built-in light sensors? Genius! I set it to “Dusk +6 hours,” making my place look like the heart of Times Square at midnight. If my home had a marquee, it would have read, “Now Playing: Unattended Bliss.”Used it on a date night to create a cozy ambiance. Result? My date thought I was a romantic genius until she asked what we were watching, and I panicked, naming the first show that came to mind â a documentary on snails.Brought it home to meet the parents, thinking it would impress them with my newfound commitment to home security. Mom thought I’d gone mad, asking why I was staring at a flashing box instead of the TV. Thanks, Mydome, for turning family dinners into an episode of ‘Candid Camera.’Tried it at work to appear diligent during late hours. Boss walked in, saw the “TV,” and thought I’d developed a sudden interest in modern art. Got fired for “misplaced creativity” â unemployment never felt so avant-garde.Introduced it to my nephew â turned my living room into a rave for toddlers. He now believes his uncle lives in a magical disco. I blame Mydome for raising his expectations of adulting. One minor drawback â it can’t distinguish between a break-in and your cat doing parkour on the windowsill. One late-night ninja cat performance, and the Mydome turned my home into a disco for one.But let’s talk about how this gadget transformed my life. I’m not just secure; I’m Hollywood secure. I’m so confident now that I’ve become the neighborhood’s very own superhero â Captain Netflix. So, would I recommend the Mydome Fake TV? Absolutely! It’s not just a device; it’s a lifestyle. It’s made me the Spielberg of my security, and for that, I am eternally grateful. Please appreciate this review with a laugh and a like. Positive feedback might just convince Hollywood to make a movie about my fake TV exploits. ð¬ð

Very clever
From the outside it does look like TV lighting from a programme. Best for individual nights out though rather than a full holiday away.
