Handy for reception area
We have this placed in a reception area and when it ‘senses’ a new arrival, we have recorded a message telling them someone will be with them. It is only activated when reception is unmanned.It is very simple to set up as was recording a message.There is a multiplayback function so messages can be varied.Good Quality

A little experience with sound files required
I wanted this device to give our downstairs loo some jungle vibes to match the decor loop. Other reviews said this device is loud even with three volume settings so I got an MP3 off the internet and used Audacity on the Microsoft Store to negatively amplify the sound. After a few tests I found that by reducing the file volume by 95% worked well on the lowest volume setting of the device. Everyone comments how great it is when they visit!Storage is 4mb so if you use mono at the sound quality stated you could get about 400 seconds of clips on there.Build quality is good and it mounted easily on my Win11 PC with the provided USB cable

Not working at all — Not powering with battteries. USB port fell into casing.
When I put in the USB cable the USB port fell into the casing.Also, it is not powering withcorrectlt inserted batteries. Just won’t come on.I had not had had time, before going away suddenly to check the item. It is after 30 days now. So I will unlikely get a refund.I at least want to warn other people not to buy this.

You need to place your own MP3 files on to it via a PC…
This motion sensor comes in a cardboard box and inside youâll find the sensor, wall mount, USB lead, and a user guide.The motion sensor is made from plastic and is lightweight. The speaker and the motion sensor are located on the front of the device. The motion sensor requires 3x AAA batteries and you need a posidrive screwdriver to remove the battery cover.Once connected to a pc, it is accessed like a normal memory card, and you can drag and drop on an mp3 file. We have an issue with a cat coming and urinating near our backdoor, so I downloaded an MP3 file of a large dog growling and barking. I dragged that on to the motion sensor and then disconnected it from the PC. As soon as I moved the motion sensor, the dark mp3 started playing at full volume which made my wife jump, so thatâs a good thing if itâs going to scare a cat. It was quite loud but not excessively loud and I feel it will be enough to scare a cat away. We havenât seen any sign of the cat since this has been outside, so I think itâs done the trick for us. It does say in the manual that itâs not intended for outside use but ours is under a canopy so doesnât get wet and itâs been fine for nearly a month.I can recommend this if you want to scare any cats away as itâs done the trick for us.

Good sensor and clarity
Works very well, in fact too well that we wanted to reduce sensitivity, which unfortunately it does not have the option to change. Same for the volume level, which cannot be changed, hence 3 stars instead of 4. Other than that it’s a very good product. Thanks

Lâappareil fonctionne bien. Cependant il nâest pas compatible avec Mac, jai pu le configurer sur Windows. Câest assez simple, en soit cela aurait pu être rapide si jâavais eu les infos nécessaires. Manque de précision donc.Pour le transfère audio sur lâappareil, vous pouvez utiliser le logiciel Audacity afin de compresser le fichier car il ne doit pas excéder 3,96 Mo (une musique dâenviron 2 minutes, dépassait ce seuil pour ma part).Sinon le capteur fonctionne très bien, trois niveaux de volume qui pour ma part suffisent amplement pour la petite pièce dans lequel il est.Dommage peut-être que la capacité dâenregistrement soit si restreinte car finalement un seul fichier peut être lu.Dans lâensemble le produit est satisfaisant
