The TCC-QL5E front panel media dashboard is made of ABS material and etched on surface. It is stable with high speed and safety. It is durable as well as beautiful. It is anti-rust and hard to be scrapped.
It has build-in USB 3.0 Port, USB 2.0 port, e-SATA, SATA port, 4 pin IDE Power port or DC 12V, Audio, Multi Card Reader, which can command your needs; Power 12V/5V output. Note: 4pin power connector is to pay attention to the direction of connection, otherwise it will cause a short circuit, the product map has the correct link method.

Heads up for easy access
As you can see from the photo my PC Multifunction Dashboard Media Front Panel, With SATA e-SATA Dual USB, is attached to my front panel. During this lockdown and using Zoom 3 times a week, with the camera, microphone and headphone, it is so easy to have all the required sockets on the front of the computer, so not having to use the back. Fitting was easy, screws are given to mount it and all the cables. You need a spare power lead on your PSU, and be at least 300w to power all the sockets. You also need a Sata free, and an audio connection free on your motherboard. I do build my own desktops so I am used to delving in the box, but I found adding this to my computer was straight forward to do, and you get a light when the computer is up and running. A lovely piece of kit, everyone should have one.

careful of the external power connector!
2nd time of buying one of these. Why? while plugging a USB cable into the USB port (the tower case is on the floor) I managed to accidentality tried plugging it into that uncovered power connector. A few sparks and I lost the USB 2 side of things. Whether there was damage to this unit, I decided not to go down the route of trying things out to see what was damaged. All I know is that Windows said the USB 2 side wasn’t reporting. Fortunately because of the number of items I have already plugged into the USB side I’d bought a USB 1 to 4 interface card that sat between this unit and the motherboard. It looks like that took the hit. Having replaced both that card and this unit, all is back to normal. To prevent a repeat, I found a plastic cover in my bits and pieces box that fits nicely over that power receptacle, such it is no longer open to the world.As to the unit itself. The reason for buying it was that my USB ports on the case had got a little bit worn out. This unit does the biz of replacing them. As already mentioned in a review elsewhere, you might have to buy some extension cables – I had to for the audio side. I found the graphic card got in the way when routing the cable to the motherboard connector – another 50mm and it would have been fine. Other than that it works a treat.

There are better adapters than this
The USB2.0 ports and flash memory ports didn’t work, despite plugging in all of the connectors (including power). The unit is flimsy and cheaply made. The mounting holes also don’t properly align the front of the unit with my other 5.25″ drives. Sent it back.

Audio jack wired the wring way around
Decent product. I bought this to expand my front IO and it’s been very useful, however when I plug my headphones into the audio jack the R and L channels are the wrong way around! I will try to fix this by swapping the wires.

Straightforward installation, had to sacrifice a rear USB3 set to plug this one in to get them at the front but once plugged in, all worked well

Excellent Upgrade
My old card reader was playing up, so I needed a good one for photography and creating a music SD card for my car. This does the job. My PC runs Windows 7 and the motherboard could not accommodate all the connectors. I have ordered a PCI Express card to connect the 20 pin USB3 connector. It is not a product shortcoming but the shortcoming of my old motherboard. I am very happy with this item.

Wel de aansluiting vooraan kan nuttig zijn, als men regelmatig eens en harde schijf of zo wilt nakijken.Spijtig zit er geen aansluiting op voor oudere Pata Harddisk of FCC floppy, want er zit wel een stroomaansluiting daar voor op.De kast bestaat uit dun plastiek, dus oppassen tijden de montage.Blijft leuk voor wie het nodig heeft, of om mee te pronken.

Acheté pour éviter de remplacer mon boîtier qui avait ses port USB défectueux.On va commencer par les points négatifs :- le mollex mâle en façade…( pour alimenter un DD) pourquoi ? Jâai beau me creuser la tête je ne vois pas. En plus dâavoir un risque électrique….les adaptateurs standards pour brancher du SATA ou autres , sont en mâle également ! Donc aucun intérêt .- les câbles SATA pour raccorder le SATA et le ESATA ne sont pas différentiable sur lâappareil. Ce qui fait que si on manque de connections sur sa carte mère et que lâon veut nâen brancher quâun seul , ça sera 1 chance sur 2 de brancher le mauvais :/- boitier impossible à fixer si votre tour a des rack pour fixation rapide ( il aurait fallu quâau moins un trou soit standard comme sur un lecteur DVD par exemple)Passons aux points positifs :- câest un beau produit bien fini.- la longueur de câble est correcte, je nâai pas eu trop de mal à tout raccorder ( sauf le câble USB qui est limite car à lâopposé sur ma carte mère)-fonctionne très bien et est très complet.- très bon rapport qualité / fonctionnalité / prixEn résumé :je ne regrette pas mon achat malgré les améliorations dont pourrait bénéficier le produit ( 10cm de câble en plus, mollex femelle, trou de vis de fixation, marquage câble SATA)il mâa bien dépanné pour enfin récupérer de l âUSB ET de l âUSB 3 en façade !Je compléterai mon commentaire après quelques temps dâutilisation.Bonne journée à tous et merci dâavoir pris le temps de me lire.Edit après quelques semaine d’utilisation: Je rajoute une 5ème étoiles car le produit marche très bien !Vous trouvez ce commentaire pertinent ? Es justo lo que necesitaba y mejor equipado. Mi anterior tarjetero murió tras más de 10 años de servicio y éste me pareció un más que justo sustituto, hace unas semanas que lo tengo y, de momento, funciona muy bien… ¡espero que dure, por lo menos, otros 10 años!
