Perfect for the Amazon Fire 7 (4th Gen, issued in 2014)
I have an Amazon Fire 7. It’s 4th Generation, issued in 2014. About 8 months ago the original cable stopped working and I was unable to use it for about 8 months. I eventually got round to buying this cable which fits the Amazon Fire 7 (issued 2014) perfectly! The cable is nice and long so I can sit in bed or on the sofa and have it plugged into the socket some distance away and still use it whilst it’s charging. It’s brilliant. It seems really good quality and is very reliable. I am really happy with it and highly recommend it!

Can’t read kindle while charging with this cable
This does the job its intended to do and is convenient as it’s a longer lead. However, it is not possible to read your kindle when charging (as it was with the original lead) as it does not work properly when this is plugged in, ie, it will turn on but does not function properly for turning pages etc.
