It doesn’t work.
I bought this as it stated it was suitable for the Kindle paperwhite but it isn’t. It didn’t charge it at all. I also tried it on my Samsung tablet as that has the same connection point but it didn’t work on that either.

Although sold as a lead to work with Kindles, it refuses to connect my Kindle paperwhite to my PC, but works for my wife to charge her Kindle Fire!!??No idea what’s going on here.
