Excellent bluetooth to FM transceiver for the money.
This is a very neat piece of design, cramming a fast USB (2.1A) charger and Bluetooth to FM transceiver into one small package. Initial reads of reviews stated they are loose in the 12V socket – I didn’t find this on my 2011 Renault Grand Modus. I tried it in both the 12V and the dual extension I use without any issues of the device being loose. Once powered up it’s time to pair it with your phone. My Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge set it as media output only, which is handy as I use Bluetooth to link my GPS/DashCam to the phone as well. With both devices paired it was time to give it a try.Make note – read instructions first, then read them first time you use it. I set a FM frequency and tuned in and had sound, albeit a bit quiet. I adjusted the volume on my phone and then on the device, and it was at a sensible listening level.I found it a little easy to knock the top down and switch control modes so instead of changing track I changed volume or frequency, but think it’s more to do with the location of the 12V socket it sits in. The display could do with being a bit brighter as strong sunlight does make it a struggle at times, but once you’ve mastered the controls, you don’t need the display unless checking the frequency matches your radio setting.Sound quality was good with excellent stereo sound. The bass was a little lighter on some tracks than I find using an MP3 disc or CD, but it’s easily adjusted on the stereo or phone.All in all, a very good device. I can’t comment on long term reliability as I’ve only had it a few days, but may report back after 6 months.From my perspective it’s great for the price, but not 100% perfect. Brighter display and maybe a slightly more tactile feedback of twist or push and it would be 100% perfect.

I have a fifteen year old BMW car and my wife has a thirteen year old mini, neither of which have radios that support a headphone jack, aux port or bluetooth.The TeckNet F36 FM Transmitter seemed to be the ideal solution for streaming music from the iPhone to the cars speakers via the radio so I ordered one.It arrived a couple of days later in a neat small package with a warranty card and instruction pamphlet. Register the device online and you get an extra six months warranty, making two tears in total.The instructions were simple and easy to follow and took no more than ten minutes to install. Choose a free FM frequency on your radio and set it into one of your radio presets for ease of access in future use. Press the LED display for two seconds and a FM frequency will display in blue. Rotate the large knob clockwise adjust the displayed frequency until it matches that chosen on the radio preset. The frequency will be stored in the F36 device.You can now pair your streaming Bluetooth device with the ‘TeckNet F36” and the radio will promo you when it is connected. A small turn of the knob will select the next/previous track/station. A full turn will adjust the volume and the level will be indicated on the display with a range of 1-31. It can be a little awkward reaching for the device, depending where its located, so I just use Siri on my iPhone to make these adjustments. There is also a 5V/2.1A USB port located on the side that facilitates fast charging of mobile devices.Although only used for a couple of days I have found the sound quality excellent with no interference or dropouts. Its easily transportable between both cars, Just plugin, no further adjustments necessary. If it continues to perform well its inexpensive enough to purchase one for each car. I would definitely recommend this neat little device.

Bluetooth FM Transmitter, TeckNet In-Car Universal Wireless FM Transmitter Radio Adapter with 5V/2.1A USB Car ChargerThis bluetooth FM transmitter arrived well packaged in a sturdy cardboard box complete with a 2 years guarantee card along with a small welcome guide which explains how to use the device. The unit is quite compact, from tip to top it’s only 3″ with the width at the top being 1.5″ (3.6 x 7.3 cm). The top has a black screen which lights up with a blue display of the frequency you are tuned to. The unit feels quite solid and looks to be well built.You tune your car radio to an FM frequency that is free from any broadcast (find a frequency with just a slight hiss) you then plug the transmitter into your car cigarette socket, the top of the transmitter will light up and display the frequency that the transmitter is set at. The top of the transmitter acts as a a dial and switch, you just turn the top left or right until the frequency matches that on your car radio. Connect your phone to the transmitter via bluetooth then you are ready to go.To play or pause – press down until you feel a slight clickTo adjust the volume – twist left or rightIt’s as simple as that.The sound comes through on my car radio without issue, it’s crisp & clear without hiss, crackle or buzzing. Le mettre en place a été très simple et j’ai pu l’utiliser de suite. Les fonctionnalités qu’ils annonçaient ont effectivement fonctionné à ma grande surprise (changer de chanson, augmenter le volume, mettre en pause) directement avec la molette du transmetteur. Seul détail que je constate est que le volume est plutôt bas ce qui peut être gênant lorsque l’on change de chaîne radio et l’on retrouve avec le son à fond. Mais globalement un très bon produit
