If the Chime Stops Ringing after Some Time: This could happen if the pairing between the transmitter and receiver was accidentally cleared (e.g., by long-pressing the volume button). To re-pair the devices: a. Press and hold the “Next Chime” button on the receiver for over 3 seconds. You will hear a “ding dong” sound, indicating the receiver is in pairing mode b. Separate the magnetic sensor parts (move the door sensor magnet away). The chime receiver will play the default chime sound, confirming that the pairing is successfully completed

Good doorbell
Disclaimer – I received this product for free for testing.It’s a nifty little doorbell and given the price, IMO worth every penny. I had no trouble with it at all after using it for about 2 weeks. Setting it up was very simple – it was pre-configured so only required removing a protective battery tab from the button unit to enable it (you also have to plug the main unit into a socket, of course). You can select from about 50 tunes and on maximum volume it is quite loud. Many of the tunes are too long to my taste but there are several simple ones like a classic “ding-dong”. An option to go back in a list of tunes would be very useful (currently you have to scroll through ~50 to get back to the one you skipped).This doorbell can double as a night light – it’s LED illumination can be set to permanent and is sufficiently bright for this purpose. What I quite liked is that clearly TeckNet listened to the customers – latest model sports a brief illumination of the button (when pressed), rubber insulation for the button unit (although I still doubt it can be fully exposed to the elements) and a few simple tunes have been added.I think it could also make a fun toy for a toddler!

The one and onlg doorbell you’ll ever need for a maintenance free life.
Love that the ringer is self powered and wireless. No complication whatsoever in screwing to wooden door frame then just plugging the reciever into an available wall socket. I’d say my receiver is about 10m away on the upstairs landing, and I don’t think its never not recieved a signal from the ringer, yet the signal also has to travel through a couple of brick walls and some wood. Don’t think we’ve either also had any false positives of the reciever going off by itself from any sort of wireless interference etc.Built in night light is a nice effect, just not something we use in our household, but can see it being useful for plenty of other people in the night. Volume can go quite loud, and there’s a range of doorbell ringtones to choose from, though we just keep it quite basic.I’m always a fan of Tecknet offerings, and am not disappointed. Reasonably cheap and worked everytime. No other doorbell compares.

This is a great product where the wireless transmitter does not require any batteries!In the box you get: 1x Bell transmitter, 1x Pluggable Receiver, 3M double sided tape, screws, and some instruction manuals.The receiver is a little smaller then expected and looks really nice.Easy to setup as already paired devices so its plug and play. The transmitter feels really well built and responsive to every click made, setting off the bell receiver.The bell receiver has loads of different chimes (I have gone for the standard ding-dong).You have the option to set it with Chime only, Chime & Flash or Flash only. You can also leave the flash LED permanently on as a night light which is quite useful.I have the Bell transmitter and receiver separated with approx. 10 metres distance with no problem. Although the specification says up to 150 metre wireless range (i assume this will be with no wall in-between).So far have been using it for 1 week without any operational issues. The only snag I have is that the volume could have been louder even though there are 4 adjustable level. However the fact that no battery required on the transmitter I had to give it a 5 star!

Nice Unit But Not Really Loud Enough
Nice doorbell and very easy to install.No batteries to run out in the bell push is a great feature, Unfortunately the ring volume could be greater and I couldnt find a location for the receiver, even on its loudest setting, where I could hear it from anywhere in the house. Solution was to buy a second receiver (nice if they sold them separately but they dont so you have to buy a complete unit with bell push which I now have as a spare). The second receiver has to be paired to the bell push. There are instructions for this in the user guide using the “pairing button” on the receiver however nowhere does it say which of the 3 buttons on the receiver is the pairing button. A process of trial and error soon identifies it though. All now working and I can now hear one or other or both receivers from anywhere in the house.In summary a nice unit which works reasonably well but it could do with being louder and/or the possibility of buying additional receivers on their own without the bell push.

Good quality, good value
Iâve mentioned in previous reviews that I always have confidence in Tecknet products, and this is no exception. It arrived promptly, was sensibly packaged and looks great. The button has a reassuring âclickingâ action, and the bell unit sounds good. Simply plug it in to a socket and itâs paired and ready to use immediately. It has the usual selection of funny and imaginative audio alerts – various classical fugues, the William Tell Overture, Happy Birthday, Theme from Love Story, a fear Christmassy tunes – but the first few choices are really nice, from a classic Bing-Bong Avonâs Calling to some seriously good quality bells. There will be something for everyone.The light is a nice touch, and it flashes when the doorbell rings, in case you need it turned right down in volume for any reason. Overall, a great little device and great VFM.

Good doorbell but the plugin element on my one was upside down! However…….
UPDATE: After my review the company contacted and refunded me as they had no new doorbells to send out. 10 out of 10 for customer service. thank you! I will now buy the Tecknet doorbell with 2 receivers.Original review: The door bell is loud and reliable but the plugin plug is structurally wrong so the company name is upside down. Cosmetically not nice. Otherwise a good product.

This has been an awesome addition to our house. We have a fridge in the mudroom kids have been sneaking drinks from. We installed this on the fridge and plugged in the speaker in our great room. No more supplying the neighborhood kids with endless Sodas and water bottles. Worth every penny! Takes 2 mins to set up.
