Works for increasing or decreasing the equipment mounting depth by 6 inches to add more flexibility for equipment installation in your existing server cabinet.
Made from heavy gauge steel, the total weight capacity of the server rack depth adapters is 20lb (9kg) for installation on 2 post rack or 60lb (27kg) for 4 post installation.
These adapters were designed for mounting servers, shelves, or any other networking, telecom or AV equipment at varying depths.
The adapters can also be used for mounting equipment that has high density cabling such as network switches and patch panels.
Comes in pair and available in a variety of sizes. Hardware are included for rack depth adapter installation for your convenience.

Very Useful and Solidly Built
Although these are meant to be used as a rack extension for adding depth when required I actually wanted to use them for wall mounting a rack system that I built for my media centre.On opening, this pair of brackets have been made from a good weight of steel and are finished in a smooth black coating with no burrs or sharp edges. To be able to use these for my purpose I had to bend them to create a right angle so that they would attach to each side of my rack and then be able to mount to the wall using sturdy wall anchors. The quality of the metal is such that bending them took a little work but using a vice and some heat they were soon ready for my purpose.Fitting these was straight forwards as all of the cage nut holes lined up perfectly to the same in the rack and then using the supplied cage nuts and bolts these brackets fitted tightly ready to wall mount without any movement between the units.Overall, if used for the listed purpose these will fit and work very well and at a decent price, if like me you tend to experiment then these can be quite versatile and are strong enough to be used for several different tasks.Recommended.

Come with all required attachments to use, all the trimmings as it were. These are well made, solid materials and high quality all in all, and the design does the job excellently. No issues at all. It extends your rack, and it looks good whilst doing it.

2u rack extenders
Perfect for when you’ve got that thing thats just a bit too long for your rack.These rack ears are solid, attach easily and securly to exsiting rack studding and offer additional length to installed rack products when installed.For £13 at time of review, I think they’re good value for money and do exactly what they’re advertised to do.

Does What It Says On The Tin
The brackets come with all fixings etc. they are easy to attach and do the job they where designed for perfectly, they are solid and give that extra bit of space at the back of the server rack. I have used quite a bit of kit from this brand and the quality doesn’t disappoint. Did the job for me, so i’m one happy bunny.

Good if you have a very specific requirement
If you have a specific need to recess a piece of network equipment a set distance behind the rack post, or extend some rails that don’t quite reach far enough for your deep racks, these will do the job simply and effectively. I would be cautious using them with heavy equipment, particularly if it’s only mounted to two posts rather than four, as the extra distance from the rack post translates to extra leverage and the device will sag in the rack and probably bend something. But for small switches, or something like a lightweight server that will be mounted with full-depth rails, it should be fine.

What can you say about a Rack extender…These are solid and well made with a good powder coated finish.Fitting bolts are included.They do the job well and at the price they are great value.

Great, well-made rack extenders
TecMojo are rapidly becoming one of my favourite companies. Their stuff is well-designed, solidly-made and functions without a hitch. These are just a simple couple of rack extenders – just a bent metal bracket that doesn’t need to be fancy. But The steel is solid, the angles precise, the powder paint coating flawless.I needed to extend forward a small patch panel to avoid clearance problems. This did the job perfectly. It fit without any adjustment or bending. The price is very fair – I’m amazed at how much some companies can get away with charging for things like this. Highly recommended.

As with other Tec Mojo rack products, these are good quality. It includes the cage nuts and screws to mount the extenders in place. Each bracket is angled, with the side attaching to the rack being located towards the inner part of the rack and the new mounting points it presents being supported from the outside. This avoids any clearance issues with the rack you’re installing into, which shows it has been well thought out. A great way to add a bit of depth to an existing shallow rack.
