I really felt the urge to write this review after I purchased the 4U drawer and installed it today. I installed it in my rack above another brand’s 4U model GRW-DRWDF4 I had purchased from SWS. This review is also a bit of a comparrison. In total I have two racks with 5 drawers, 4 are higher-end drawers and this one being the least expensive. While this one is just about an inch shorter front to back (and I knew that prior to purchase) than the GRW-DRWDF4, I really like the smooth (no exposed bolts for rail) internals of this drawer and it just pulls and closes so much smoother and easier. Its not a thick metal as the GRW-DRWDF4 but is still completely solid construction and not at all flimsy or thin. The GRW-DRWDF4 may be over built for a home studio like mine where I just want good solid drawers. This one exceeded my expectations. Hope it continues to perform.I see the reviews regarding concerns on packaging and can see why these drawers may get bent in shipping because there is only some flimsy styrofoam between it and the box wall. I was lucky to get one with no damage but see how that is completely possible. They should pack them better or double box them. Having said that I would still roll the dice on that point and order another one of these if I needed to versus getting a GRW-DRWDF4 or something similar to a GRW-DRWDF4 at more the double the price.

These are AWESOME! (Ok the concept…)the 2U drwaer is cool. I keep varios small parts (SFP modules, Cage nuts, manuals, etc) right in the rackI really like I the TecMoJo brand, the quality is good, and despite being in some rough environments, thier products hold up

This drawer is a high quality server rack drawer. The 2U design allows for ample storage space and depth. The glide of the drawer is very effortless. The design of it is very sturdy. The lock on the drawer is a nice feature that can help keep the contents of your drawer secure. The only thing bumping from 5 stars to 4 stars is that the back support for the drawer is very difficult to install if you donât have an open rack design. My server rack has solid walls on the side so installing the back drawer supports was difficult. I ended up not even screwing the back support into the drawer itself, rather just had the drawer sit on top of the supports. Overall, great server rack drawer that is a great addition to your server rack!

I’m so happy with this. I bought mine for an effect rack, to use for a pedal drawer. I did a lot of research, came to the conclusion that the music company ones are pretty much junk drawers for 3X the price. This one’s well built especially for the price. It’s sturdy, and the back bracers are a nice addition that the pricey music store ones seem to be lacking. I can’t believe how close I came to buying several other options that would have sucked compared to this one. I can’t help but feel like I kinda lucked out finding this unit. I would definitely buy another one if I ever needed one.
