Stay away from this trash
Its a dud, that is all I’m saying. It is just a decoy, it does not do what it says it does. There is not even an on/off button on the probe generator, the tone finder probe emmits a high pitch sound even if the generator is not even attached to a wire. Absolute and complete useless. Do not BUY!

Always used tempo, my 20 something year old one broke, bought this whish is exactly the same except for colour, it does have an additional LED work light installed which is a great idea. will be happy if i can finish my telecoms career with this oneBT use them, tells you something

Faulty probe and no response from the vendor when I messaged them regarding
The issue I had with this was mainly the fact the probe wouldn’t switch off. So it was going through a battery a week. Other than that it worked quite well.

Very pleased with the decision to switch to a new brand. I always used ideal but after frying my 22yr old tone I found the price went up immensely. After buying a cheap tone that didn’t work out of box I chose to try this one out. The tone works great! Chose this one bc the case is made for longevity of the product especially when put in a tool box stocked full. I use this professionally and would recommend all day long!

Unit works well. I was able to trace the wires in an older boat quite well. Solid construction feels very well made. Be careful with the leads I can see them getting hung on something and breaking. Speaker is loud and you can hear clearly. Would recommend to the company to make them interchangeable like a few other styles Iâve seen. Other than that, great product.
