Great fun and simple to use
This camera arrived compactly packaged, along with a charging lead, a hanging strap, 2 rolls of thermal paper (plus a third roll already installed in the camera).I ordered the pink colour, for my 7 year old daughter. Itâs a very sickly shade of pink, but she loves it!The camera is very easy to use, with minimal buttons which are easy to press and intuitive menus.As well as being a camera, this toy provides other entertainment in the form of games, including Snake and Tetris etc. Thereâs also the option to playback music.Thereâs a huge 32GB data card included, so thereâs plenty of storage space for photos, videos and music.The options as a camera are great. Photos, selfies, videos are all supported, and thereâs the option for adding filters/stickers/effects to your photos. Picture quality on the screen is good, and thereâs a 16x digital zoom feature too.Photos can be printed straight from the camera, including instantaneously, which my daughter and her friends love to do. The picture quality isnât great, but the novelty factor far outweighs this. The fact that printing is thermal, with no ink required is great, as the only consumables required for this are the paper rolls. Given that 3 rolls are included, it will be a while until you need to buy more.Charging is by USB C, so is very convenient, and the battery lasts for days anyway (depending on usage levels). The lead can also be used to link to a PC in order to download photos, or to upload music to the device.Overall, this is an excellent little camera and would make a great gift.

Its compact size fits perfectly in my 9-year-old daughter’s hands, and even my 3-year-old can manage to snap a few shots. Sure, the photo quality isnât stellar when viewed on a PC, but for their playful purposes, itâs quite alright. My favourite part? The delightful frames and fun filters allow them to get creative. Theyâve even made a habit of decorating their room with their black and white prints. Setting it up was straightforward, though exploring all the functions took a bit of patience. Honestly, this camera breathes life into their creativity while providing endless entertainment.

really good camera for children
This product comes in a cardboard box; inside, you’ll find the camera itself (with a roll of paper already loaded and the SD card already inside), two spare rolls, some card folders to put photos in, and some wires (one to charge it and one to put the camera around your neck). As of reviewing, this product is priced at £32.99 – I do think this is quite good, especially for children.The camera has a good enough quality (you can change it from 6mp to 8mp in the settings) for children, it has games, can record and take pictures and the UI is very simple (but effective)the product definitely doesn’t have the quality of a 12mp 1080p camera, it looks more like a 480p camera in a 1080p format, but it isn’t bad (especially for a camera for children), you are able to change the megapixel count from 6 to 8 inside of the settings.the print quality is okay, it’s a thermal camera so it can only print black and white.I would definitely recommend this product, especially if a child is trying to get into photography, or just to save some memorable moments.

This product was sent to me for review, as part of Amazon Vine. The below is my own real-world experience of using it.In terms of quality it appears to have been well-made – the construction is robust, and has a sleek finish. The design has been engineered in such a way that it is very safe for children – there are no dangerous parts that are easily accessible, especially the ‘teeth’ used to tear off a picture after printing it.The set is very comprehensive; as well as the camera, you are getting extra paper rolls, and some frames to display the pictures afterwards, which I thought was a nice touch. There is also a strap and a charging cable.As for the performance, I felt that the device was extremely intuitive and user-friendly – the menus are a breeze to navigate (certainly for a child), ensuring a frustration-free experience. There is also a nice variety of picture quality options.Taking (and printing) a photo takes mere seconds, and each has a fairly decent reproduction of the subject (again, this may depend on the settings used, but I decided to max everything out to test).The device also acts as a little entertainment console, having a small number of games to choose from. One slight point of note is that the controls aren’t where you would expect – the ‘snake’ game uses the shutter button for one of the directions, instead of the menu button (I assume to avoid closing the game by mistake). Regardless, these are simple and fun to play.So far, I have found the battery life to be very good, whilst recharging does not take too long.In summary, a good value item that would make a lovely gift.

I want to return camera
I bought this camera as a birthday gift for my daughter on June 2024, she was dreaming about making pictures and enjoying them straight away. She used 2 film cassettes and left the camera for a while. I canât say the quality of the pictures were perfect, but I thought maybe because itâs instant camera. Couple weeks ago she decided she wants to make pictures again, but each picture is horrible! It doesnât matter if itâs morning, day or evening light, inside or outside the buildings, theyâre all faded and blurred.Iâm very very disappointed with the quality of the camera, itâs bought less than year ago!!!!
