NOTE:
The remote unit should NOT be placed under the direct sunlight, sunlight will heat up the remote sensor which leads to higher temperature reading than the air temperature which is supposed to be measured.
The remote sensor must be always placed upwards so that rain won’t get inside the sensor through the vent holes on the bottom of the senor which functions to let the remote sensor detect the environmental temperature and humidity more precisely and quickly.

Very easy to set up. I bought a extra sensor. So I have the temp for the room in which my display sits (taken by the display unit not a sensor) I then have a sensor in my greenhouse and another sensor mounted on a gate post in my garden. Hence I have 3 different temperature readings. The inside room temp is on constant show and the temps for the garden and greenhouse are shown alternately approx every 8 seconds. My range from outside sensors is approx 50m and it appears to work well and consistently. Very pleased and would recommend this unit to my friends.

Compatability
Not immediately clear the newer versions are on a different frequency and only work with the latest base units. Cant return so stuck with two items that dont work. Customer Services were of no help either. Better off with another brand without these issues

Good but not Great
I bought the full set and added this as an additional monitor. Very easy to set up and it connected quickly to the main receiver. I placed the two transmitters about 150 metres apart and couldn’t understand why their readings were so different. So, I placed them next to each other and sure enough, they don’t read the same temperature. The variance is about .5 to 1 degree and the humidity is about 1%. Not a big deal but strange that they don’t pick up the same details. My weather station picks up the same temperature as the one nearest to it and occasionally changes +/- 1 degree. If you can live with the lack of accuracy, then this is a good little temperature monitor for the money.

It’s not working with my ThermPro Model No:- TP-67A (Receiver). Is this remote sensor not TX-4? TX-4 is the model I need.

PrzesyÅka przyszÅa w terminie. UruchomiÅem 2 pozostaÅe czujniki. Wszystko dziaÅa. Stacja pogodowa siÄ poÅÄ czyÅa. Jeden jest na tarasie, drugi w garażu, a trzeci w altanie w ogrodzie (oddalonej od stacji w doÅÄ sporej odlegÅoÅci). Jestem zadowolony.
