Fast setup and works excellently
I decided to use the Smart Life app for setting these up because I have a number of other devices using that app.I switched the bulbs on (I did each bulb individually – you canât avoid that) and when I opened the app it had already discovered it and was asking for my network settings. I had each bulb installed and renamed in less than 60 seconds each. Honestly! The thing that took the longest was typing in my network details with my fat fingersâ¦.!I switched to the Alexa app and all 4 bulbs were there, ready & waiting. They responded to voice commands immediately. For value for money and ease of use, I doubt you could beat these and Iâve used a few types and brands.Time will tell how they last, but for now Iâm extremely happy with them.

it works very well But you might have to reconfigure your 5Ghz Wi-Fi
First and foremost this product does exactly what it says. I can now turn on the light above the kitchen sink without having to dry my hands (and walk across the room to switch it On!). I have been able to “match” its colour temperature to that of the other ceiling lights which means it “looks” right. I was also able to “name” the light to something more obvious. Here is the issue that causes the loss of the 5th “Star” in this review.I have a Virgin hub 5, an Echo Show and a mobile telephone. In the Virgin Hub, I had set both the 2.4 GHz and the 5 GHz Wi-Fi to have the same network name (SSID) secure in the knowledge that the various devices would automatically select the better signal as I walked round the house (those closest to the router / Virgin Hub would join the 5Ghz net).I eventually realised that despite my my Phone and the Echo show being (nominally) on the same Wi-Fi they were not on the same frequency band which meant that the installation did not work!Suffice it to say that after I had switched OFF the 5Ghz aspect of my home Wi-Fi, the installation process worked just fine ~ all three items necessary for the installation were then on the same net!Connecting to Alexa requires (dear) Alexa to be “skilled” ~ again there was a good hint as to how to do that but the process required a little “searching”.(By the way) connecting to “Hey Google” was far simpler but was not appropriate for my setup ~ For better or for worse ~ Alexa “Rules” in this household.I will now re-configure the router to have different SSIDs for the different Bands (Some might say that that is what I should do anyway!)I hope this helps others who might be having difficulty.I am now considering buying a different shaped bulb for a “hands free” experience at the front door / Hallway. I will buy the appropriate shaped bulb from “Trust” Smart Home.Sid

Great product – but a little fiddly to set up with Alexa
Great value for money and really bright. Only downside is the need to download the Trust application to setup the lamp before it can be connected to Alexa. Not exactly as advertised “Alexa compatible” as there is an intermediary app required, but nonetheless once set up these lamps work really well and at a fraction of the cost of other named brands.

Work well, connects to smart life / alexa
Connects to smart life and alexa but does have its own app too. But shortcuts through the smart life app so it’s not an issue. I have them on timers and a desired brightness. They’re good

Wi-Fi connection ceases to work
Very unreliable. Out of 8 of these smart bulbs I initially bought half have failed wi-fi with 2 years. Simply stop connecting to Wi-Fi and cannot be made to connect again. When working the bulb is ok and can deliver a lovely warm light but the rate of failure is very poor. Iâve many other smart bulbs and none have have developed a Wi-Fi failure like these.

The bubs are fine, the software is frustrating
I bought two packs of these, as I needed three bulbs for a ceiling fitting. The instructions come in a leaflet with tiny writing. I downloaded the Trust Wifi app and entered the network and wifi password as requested. The app recognised the 3 bulbs, but failed to register them. This happened several times. In the end I did a search and found that someone mentioned the Brilliance app, so I downloaded that. It was very similar to the Trust wifi app so might be an updated version. This time two of the bulbs registered and the third failed, but I tried that one again and it also registered. So I then created a Group with all three bulbs to control them together. Youâd think it would all be easy from then on, but it wasnât. Simply trying to change the bulbs from bright white to night mode and back led to lots of flashing from the bulbs, which is what they do when they are trying to connect. I couldnât find any consistent method to control them in some kind of logical way. I will persevere for a few days and send them back if I canât get them to work properly. I donât use Alexa or Google voice commands so I canât comment on that.

Connecting to Alexa
Like what Jim had said in an earlier comment, to connect to Alexa you need to use the “Trust WiFi” skill (after setting up using the Trust app). There are many “Trust” skills with similar icons and having looked at the reviews it appears common for people to try using the incorrect skill. The skill that worked for me was ‘Trust Wifi’.

Para ser 2 bombillas, a 12 ⬠cada una es tremendamente caro y no dan demasiada luz, para nada contento con el producto, si fuese mas barato… todavia.
