Good tablet sound not the best but I’m happy

Great entry level tablet, ideal for eledrly or under 16 year olds
A respectable entry level tablet ideal for those who don’t need a more powerful advanced computing power. It would be ideal for giving to children under 16 or for elderly relatives.It has a reasonable battery life, certainly less than some more expensive models, but if you get in the habit of charging every night its not an issue. Its reasonably easy to use, with excellent screen/picture quality.Its not that powerful/speedy a processor and the sound is not that dynamic, but many kids are likely to use headphones so this won’t be an issue. It is quite functional to use with lots of connection points. Well packaged and reasonably light weight. Overal it’s absolutely fine for those who really don’t need more expensive advanced tablets.

Great tablet
A good performing tablet. We received this tablet for use with our 11 year old child. Comes with a transparent case to help keep it safe from those accidental knocks and bumps. The tablet itself is on the heavier side of similar sized products.Good performance of tasks its been used for (light apps and internet browsing and streaming) Battery life is good and uses a USB-C to recharge.

Good budget tablet – poor battery
As budget tablets go, this one is really good. It has a good size screen, the display is bright and it’s easy to set up. The tablet design is robust and looks good – it even comes with a clear silicone case already fitted.My husband has been using it for watching sport and the picture quality is colourful, clear and the sound reasonable (see video).It works at at a decent speed – it’s not the fastest but for the price it’s pretty good. It could do with a tad more internal memory, as 64gb isn’t a great deal, although there’s a TF card slot for adding more memory if required.The battery is probably my biggest gripe. When fully charged, it lasts around 3 – 3.5 hours and that’s just when browsing the internet. It doesn’t do fast charging either. Although it comes with a USB C charging port, it won’t charge via a fast charging cable – I’ve tried several. This sadly means that the charging takes several good long hours.The tablet comes smartly boxed with a charging cable, charging adapter and instructions.Even though it’s let down by the poor battery life, it’s still a good budget tablet. It’s great for basic things like browsing the net and watching videos, etc and I imagine it’d make a good kids tablet.

The first impressions of umidigi G2 tablet is it looks like Amazon fire 10. It packs all the functions of tablet except without sim for wireless networks. It comes with screen protector and protective case which I don’t need to look for. Wall charger and type C cable is also included.The position of the power button is located above the volume buttons which mimic the pixel devices.Andriod 13 was installed with 8G ram and 64G storage. There is a slot beside the charging port for microSD I inserted a unused 32 G microSD to expand the storage. Need restart then it recogonizes it.The ram and storage are good enough for web browsing, YouTube. But cannot compare with pixel book or iPad as it is just a budget device for kids or parents.I found it has 2 speakers at the bottom which produces good sounds. I only need set to 1/3 of volume to listen everything. Watching YouTube has no problem without lagging. The app comes with are all mostly google apps which what I am familiar with.The camera has labelled as AI camera. I tested it produces average quality of picture but cannot expect too much with budget device. One feature I like is taking pictures on dark. It will turn on the flash before taking the picture so the outcome is better than other budget device. The selfie camera is also average.The battery is okay and it should last for a few hours of active usage with fully charged.I purchased it for watching stocks and finance news as I don’t want to use my work laptop as compare can trace which site I visited.I might consider buying another for my parents because they used for watching YouTube.It is not recommend for people looking for high performance tablet but it is well suited for kids and people who need basic functions.At the end I still give 5 stars because it is well positioned as budget device and I had the coupon applied when purchased.
