Stylish bright porch light
This was bought to replace an ancient wall light. It was very easy to install. I particularly liked the way I could wire it up to the backplate and then the front just plugged in.Despite only being 10W it gives a good bright light and the sensor works a treat. Nice solid construction.

The product arrived today, and it took me around an hour to install. Installation is easy except that there is very little space inside to find a nice routing for the incoming mains wiring. I managed eventually, but I could have used an extra hand, and a pixie inside to push the cables into place as I was trying to ease the unit over the baseplate! But I’m happy with it now that it is up and working. It looks fabulous out of the box, and the motion detector and adjustments all work perfectly. I hope it lasts as long as the one I am replacing (Which I installed over 20 years ago…).

The light was slightly smaller than I imagined but then I could have paid more attention to the description! However it gives a very good light, bright, the duration etc can be adjusted easily. My son found it slightly fiddly to fit, not difficult but not much room to connect wires.Overall though delighted, it looks great and does the job.Update January 2024 just over 12 months later. Bottom bulb has died and apparently bulbs cannot be replaced you have to replace the whole unit ! Very expensive mistake !
