Great Cable Tidying Solution, But Beware Of Removal
I used this product as a cable management solution to some cables that need to go up my walls. For the most part, I am very happy with the result. The clip holders look neat, hold the cables well, and gave me an alternative to the traditional nail-in-the-wall cable clips (and an annoying wall filling job in the future!)That having been said, the adhesive on the backs of these isn’t the best. They’ll stick, but not with the adhesive power of something like a command strip. Removing them to reposition them is also not a viable option because you’ll probably rip the clip off the adhesive in the process and, even if you manage it, the strength of the adhesive is pretty much gone. It also leaves behind a fair amount of adhesive on the walls, but I’m sure it can be cleaned off easily and, again, is a much nicer alternative to nails.Good product, but you need to get the position right the first time!

I bought these to tidy up all the cabling at the back of my little boy’s bed. He’s got a number of USB powered devices, and some mains things that hang down and you can see the cables…These work brilliantly. The adhesive on the back is really strong. Almost enough to hold up the extension cable’s box, and certainly enough to hold up a british standard plug.The way they grip is really good, and it’s easy to slot cables in without needing to look at them, like if you’re reaching around under a desk. The clippy ones can be a little fiddly if you can’t see what you’re doing, so these are great.The holes through them are standard size for a USB cable. A thick mains cable is quite a push to get them in, and thinner wires like aerials, microphone and headphone audio leads tend to be a little thin, so can fall out if mounted vertically. But for USB, they’re ace.The sticky stuff on the back really holds well. It does rip when you take them off the surface, leaving the papery sticker in bits. However, I found that just rubbing my finger back and forth over the paper ended up rolling it up and it came off without any marks.A great selection in this box, with lots of choices for how to mount them. I’ve stuck them to wood and glass, and they’ve stuck well, holding up an aquarium pump (it’s light being just USB), and lots of other tubes and wires.Very satisfying little solution to a problem!

Adhesive falls off (the clip!) under even medium use
The adhesive is ok⦠if used on metal; on wood, it is poor.But far worse, the adhesive fails under even moderate use on the clips themselves. Especially the larger ones, that could hold something like a mains power cable, detatch from their adhesive under the strain of such. The wide ones, if used simply to keep a lot of cables tidy on top of a surface, might be up to the task.

Itâs great for things like light cableâs, but donât expect it to hold up something like an HDMI cable. It works decently, but has the tendency to either rip out the paint of your wall/desk or to be useless after it falls off 1 time. I had wasted a lot of them purely because the sticky side was too messed up to use again.
