This product worked better than I thought it would. I love the space saving aspect and had originally bought it so my laptop would be out of the way, but the other features are nice too. It hook it up to my home computer and it acts as a hub for USB, USB c, SD and micro SD. So if I want something off my work laptop I just plug it in and share instead of emailing it like before. Something I didn’t think I would use but now love is the feet that extend out to hold your laptop, it can be all hooked up charging and not get hot because it’s off the desk and the base is plenty heavy with good grip so it doesn’t go anywhere. Would definitely recommend.

Premetto che è la seconda docking station che testo per la Steam Deck quindi posso fare un confronto diretto.CARATTERISTICHE ed USOLe prime docking station che stanno uscendo per la SD direi che si assomigliano un po’ tutte e ci sta perché, alla fine, devono farci stare la SD e le porte utili.Questa non fa eccezione e di porte ne ha quante se ne vogliono: USB per chiavette, adattatori e pad con filo, HDMI (per fortuna di dimensione normale e non mini), LAN ed infine usb-C per la connessione ad un alimentatore, in modo da mantenere carica la SD mentre si gioca (compatibile con PD 3 quindi adatta alla deck).L’installazione è talmente banale che potevano anche risparmiarsi il manualetto presente: si collegano le connessioni che servono, si collega la docking station alla SD e viene immediatamente riconosciuta dalla TV (il test l’ho fatto su un LG 55 pollici 4k abbastanza recente); la cosa strana è stata che, a differenza delle altre dock provate, la TV ha segnalato (come si vede in foto) di aver attivato una funzione relative al colore presente sulla tv. Non so come mai ma tant’è, alla fine vuol dire che ci colloquia bene con la dock riuscendo, la tv, ad ottimizzarsi per la sua fruizione.Ci sarebbe da fare un discorso sull’utilità di giocare con la SD su un TV 4k ma non mi ci soffermo, dico solo che, secondo me, l’upscaling è troppo marcato, partendo dalla bassa risoluzione della SD, quindi l’immagine non è proprio il massimo, soprattutto nei colori un po’ troppo saturi.PROâ Non serve installare niente, si attacca e si giocaâ Ci entra la SD anche con la cover in silicone (solo retro) e rimane comunque molto fermaâ Riconosciuta subito dalla TVCONTROâ Non è bellissima l’immagine del gioco su un tv del genere.CONCLUSIONIOvviamente il contro è più legato alla SD che alla docking station provata, l’ho messo comunque perché vale la pena valutare se effettivamente sia utile o meno una docking station.Per il resto questa funziona molto bene, è pratica, viene riconosciuta immediatamente e fa il suo dovere in maniera ottima, non posso che promuoverla a pieni voti.Spero di esservi stato utile ð

He podido probar este dock para la portátil de Valve, Steam Deck, y su funcionamiento y diseño me ha parecido excelente. La steam deck la he podido colocar hasta con funda incluida.El dock está fabricado en aluminio y tiene un tamaño bastante comedido, con 14 cm de largo, y 4 de ancho. Dispone de 3 puertos USB 3.0, una entrada HDMI, puerto de carga USB C power direct, y una entrada de red RJ45 gigabit en su lateral. Para conectarlo a la Steam Deck, dispone de un cable con puerto USB C que se coloca por la parte posterior al puerto superior USB C, queda suficientemente holgado. En la parte inferior tiene 4 tacos de goma para evitar resbalar por las superficies. Y también dispone de protecciones de goma en la base donde descansa el dispositivo. Además es muy estable en la mesa.Su construcción y acabados me han convencido, son sólidos y de buena calidad. Y sobre todo me ha dado un muy buen resultado. La conexión con mi televisión ha sido perfecta y lo ha detectado a la primera. También he podido usar la conexión de red, pudiendo descargar a más velocidad que con la wifi. Y los puertos USB 3.0 han funcionado correctamente cada uno de ellos y con el mismo resultado el puerto de carga USB C. Y, por tanto, es una buena alternativa al dock oficial de la marca.El puerto USB soporta hasta 100â¯W de carga máxima con carga rápida, no he notado que se caliente lo más mÃnimo durante el proceso. El puerto HDMI soporta hasta 4K y 60â¯Hz, pero hay que tener un cable HDMI 2.0 (no incluido) para que funcione en esta resolución. Obviamente, las desventajas de este dock, es que no trae Displayport con soporte MST (modo de varios monitores) y tampoco incluye soporte para AMD Freesync como si incluye el oficial.
