What is HBR?
HBR (High Bit Rate) indicates the ability to display bandwidth.
Will this docking station expand the screen for my Apple computer?
Yes, but Apple computers do not support the MST protocol (Multi-Stream Transport) and can only provide two solutions: A-AAA and A-BBB.
What to do if the docking station is low on power?
You can use your computer’s adapter with our docking station’s PD port for charging.
What is the difference between the aluminium casing and the nylon cable compared to the plastic one?
Aluminium casing and nylon cables make the docking station even more beautiful for travel and on-the-go, and aluminium is less prone to wear and tear and more resistant to unplugging.

Great Docking Station for Multi-Tasking Setup
Iâve been using the Minthouz 12-in-1 USB-C Docking Station for a few weeks now, and itâs really helped transform my desk into a full-fledged workstation. The triple monitor setup is awesome, Iâve got two HDMI monitors and a DisplayPort working seamlessly together at 4K resolution. Super smooth and no lag! ð
The 100W PD charging is a lifesaver, and the 2.5G Ethernet port is a nice upgrade over my old 1G connection. Iâve also used the SD and TF card slots, and they work flawlessly for quick file transfers. The USB ports are fast enough for my peripherals, and I love the 3.5mm audio jack for my speakers.
The only reason Iâm docking one star is because the dock can get a bit warm after extended use, especially when running multiple displays and devices. It hasnât caused any issues yet, but Iâd be cautious if you plan on running it 24/7.

The best hub I have ever used
The hub comes in a coloured glossy cardboard box with tamper proof stickers and an inner cardboard former. The contents comprise:-
– A safety information sheet in 9 languages. Printed in black and white on folded paper
– A quick start guide in English only. Printed in colour on glossy folded paper
– A card with driver download links covering 7 countries (not needed for Windows 10/11 where it is plug and play)
– The hub itself
The hub has an aluminium housing with black plastic ends. The attached cable is thick with a braided cover and a USB C plug with a metal cover. It looks and feels premium, but is also surprisingly light and compact. For me, the range of ports is the best selection I have come across on any hubs i have tried. I canât think of anything missing.
I tested the device on a Samsung S10 phone running running the DEX desktop environment and was able to test the following ports successfully.
– Charging of phone whilst in use
– Display and sound via HDMI port
– Display and sound via both display ports
– Ethernet connection
– USB A and C sockets – I did not check the speed
– Audio out socket – I did not check with a microphone
At an ambient temperature of 22 degC the case got up to 33 degC in use, so definitely feels warm but not too hot to touch.
At a price of £63 at the time of writing, this hub is competitively priced and highly recommended.
MICO’S TECH ADVICE –
Big Uses
I recently purchased the Minthouz 12-in-1 USB C Docking Station, and I have to say, it has exceeded all my expectations. As someone who constantly juggles between my laptop, tablet, and smartphone, this docking station has been a game-changer for me. The triple display feature is a standout; I can now extend or mirror displays across three monitors, which has significantly boosted my productivity. Whether Iâm working on a detailed design project or simply multitasking with several applications open, the added screen real estate is a huge advantage.
The 100W power delivery (PD) is another feature that really impressed me. Not only does this docking station support data transfer and display functionality, but it also provides ample power to charge my devices simultaneously. I no longer need to worry about my laptop running low on battery while Iâm working on multiple screens. The 2.5G Ethernet port has been incredibly reliable for a stable internet connection, and the inclusion of SD and TF card slots makes it easy to transfer files from my camera and other devices.
The design of the docking station is sleek and modern. It has a robust build that feels durable, and the compact size ensures it doesnât take up too much space on my desk. Setup was incredibly easyâjust plug it in, and everything works right away. The 4 USB ports have been perfect for connecting my keyboard, mouse, external hard drive, and phone simultaneously, without any lag or issues. Iâve been using this for several weeks now, and I can honestly say itâs made my workday so much easier.
One of the most useful features, in my opinion, is the Thunderbolt 3/4 compatibility. I use a Dell laptop, and having the flexibility to connect using Thunderbolt means faster data transfer rates and seamless video output. This dock also works great with my MacBook when I switch devices, making it the perfect solution for anyone who works with multiple operating systems. Additionally, the audio output via the 3.5mm jack is clear and high-quality, making it easy to plug in my headphones or speakers for a better audio experience during video calls or listening to music.
Overall, I highly recommend the Minthouz 12-in-1 USB C Docking Station. Itâs an excellent investment for anyone needing to expand the capabilities of their laptop or tablet. The combination of triple display, fast charging, stable internet connection, and reliable data transfer makes this an essential tool for any professional or multi-device user.

works just fine
Works well as a versatile docking station with a good selection of ports for multiple devices. Triple display support is useful for multitasking and productivity. Fast charging ensures devices stay powered without interruptions. Ethernet connection is stable, providing reliable high-speed internet. Some ports feel a bit tight, and occasional connectivity issues can occur.

This dock works great with the MacBook Pro M4 pro on macOS 15.4.1, I was scared when I realize that the Ethernet chip in the dock itâs a Realtek one because compatibility issues but this chip works great with the Apple M devices

Netzwerk:
1 * 2,5 GBit/sec
USB (Daten):
1 * USB-A 10 Gbit/sec (blau)
1 * USB-C 10 GBit/sec
2 * USB 2 480 Mbit/sec
USB: Stromversorgung
USB-C mit “PD” (Power Delivery) Beschriftung
Speicherkarten:
1 * SD
1 * Mini-SD
Headset-Buchse:
Kombi 3,5 mm 4 pol. inkl. Mikrofon
(In diesem Falle: UMD316).

60 Hz ansteuern. Leider keine Monitore mit USB-C AnschluÃ, trotz zweier USB-C Ports.
3. 1x 2,5 GBit/sec Netzwerk
4. 1x USB-A 10 Gbit/sec (blau)
5. 1x USB-C 10 GBit/sec
6. 2x USB 2 480 Mbit/sec
7. 1x USB-C mit “PD” (Power Delivery) Beschriftung
8. 1x SD Kartenanschluss
9. 1x Mini-SD Kartenanschluss
10. 11x 3,5 mm Stereo Klinkenanschluss

So much needed this hub for my laptop. It’s amazing how much extra stuff I carry with my laptop, but I guess it’s just necessary when traveling for school and business.
This hub even has an hdmi insert, and that’s really a plus. It’s light weight, compact, the cord length is okay and so far everything works.

This is a high quality product, especially for the price, but if you have an old laptop, then you do also have to buy a converter.
All of these ports hold cables securely, unlike some of my previous port managers. The diversity of the available ports is also impressive: USB-A, USB-C, Ethernet, 3.5mm Audio Jack, DP, SD, microSD, and HDMI, all in a hub that is smaller than my phone is quite impressive. For what it is, it is near perfect, but I did have a very slight problem with it.
Since the “out” port for the hub is a male USB-C, you have to have a USB-C port on your computer. Most newer laptops, like Macbooks and most PCs have plenty of these, but my older laptop didn’t. I thought this might decrease the usefulness of the hub, but fortunately it was no issue. It fits well with a female USB-C to male USB-A converter, and was barely a problem to even consider.
When it’s all set up, everything works well with no lag or glitches at all. The quality and convenience of this hub is impressive, and this is definitely worth picking up if you need to connect your computer to multiple monitors.
