BEWARE: Doesn’t work..!
Completely dead on arrival. No indication that anything is working. Tried 2 different Cat6 cables and 2 different USB devices as well as different USB Host Ports… NOTHING..!

Does function, but with limitations
I ran a quick test on these adapters with a USB SSD drive and it worked as expected. However my main use for this was to connect a webcam mounted to a large screen monitor for conference calls. Unfortunately the 10 meter cable I used with these connectors couldnât carry the voltage along the length for my intended purpose so the webcam isnât recognised by the connected PC. You might want to make some consideration for your individual use before purchase given the voltage drops as the length of the cable is increased.

Does not work
Selling for £5.99Sorry to say that this doesn’t work at all. Plugging in with various cables – not even that long. The USB device at the far end appears to get some power but nothing is recognised at the host end. I tried multiple different USB devices and computers and cables and couldn’t get anything out of it.Even if it had worked I also would be giving this a lowish rating because it says it is “ethernet” but that implies you can connect it to an ethernet network which with this you can’t. It simply us using an ethernet RJ45 cable for the wiring. Being able to connect USB devices directly to a local area ethernet network would be awesome but I’m yet to find a device that actually supports this despite what they write in the listing title.I don’t like giving 1 star reviews but this item simply isn’t fit for purpose and the listing text is misleading for what it actually could do. It also comes with no instructions.
