This is a review of a sample of WASRUYI USB C OTG Adapter Type C Male to USB-A Female Adapters. The pack contained six small adapters: Three of the adapters enable a USB C cable to be plugged into a USB A outlet. The other three adapters work the other way around enabling a USB A cable to be plugged into a USB C outlet. The benefit of these adapters is that they reduce the number of diferent types of cables that need to be carried.As far as I can see all three of the adapters that supported a USB C cable being pluged into a USB A outlet worked. Two of the adapters that support a USB A cable being plugged into a USB C outlet also worked. Sadly, one of the adapters supporting a USB A cable being plugged into a USB C outlet didn’t work – it wouldn’t allow a USB A cable to be plugged into it.These type of low priced adapters are mass produced. My guess is that many potential customers purchasing a pack of six adapters of this type would anticipate that one might not work. A little irritating, but not a surprise.

Not a lot to say about these as they are simple devices that just do what they are supposed to.The 6 units come in a resealable plastic packet with 3 x UCB-C to USB-A converters and 3 x UCB-A to USB-C. They just work. I’ve not needed them for data transfer so can’t speak to that but they don’t affect the speed of charging of any of the devices I tested on, even the fast charged ones.Happy to recommend
