Excellent device
Well, it’s a USB splitter. MMmmm…. It looks and feels quality made. It works. It looks good (even cooool). Frees up a USB port to enable use of another USB device (invaluable). Well pleased with this device – and at a bargain price (I got free delivery to local Amazon locker).

A very good looking and practical device that enables two external drives to be plugged in from one socket. Easy to insert and faultless in operation.

USB sockets are firm but it is slightly loose where it plugs into another device such as a charger or PC. Works fine, just slightly worried that it might be nudged and fall out without me noticing. Probably unlikely since it illuminates when receiving power. At the price, very good value.

Incompatibility with car usb-a port
I wanted it to plug in to the single usba port in my Mini Cooper SE, so that I could use one slot for a charging cable and the other for a standard usb containing my music collection. The charging usb worked fine but the car would not identify the music usb when plugged into the second port. It worked fine and still does when connected to the original slot in the car. The extender is a 2.0 version and the car is a usb-a socket. Regrettably, I can only rate it in the main with my own disheartening experience in not being able to use it for the purpose that I bought it for. It is not the extender that is at fault and it does look and feel well built but I already have plenty usb ports for my home use so it has to go into that box of technology bits and pieces that we all seem to have.
