Weâve been using vacuum storage bags for around 12 years or so and after a few years of use, they tend to develop splits in places and begin letting in air and then need to be replaced.My partner wanted to put her winter clothes into storage and being as space in our house is really limited, I picked up this pack of vacuum storage bags to maximise space and keep the clothes inside clean and dust free.This particular pack comes with 8 bags in 4 different sizes (2 of each). Each one has a double press lock closure to create a good seal which is accomplished by pressing the 2 halves together and then sliding the plastic zipper across the top.Once your items are placed inside, you can then zip up the bag, unscrew the plastic cover to remove it and expose the one-way valve. You can then use the included electric vacuum to suck out the air and compress the contents by simply placing it over the valve and turning it on.***** In The Box *****2 x Small (60 x 40cm)2 x Medium (70 x 50cm)2 x Large (80 x 60cm2 x Jumbo (100 x 80cm)1 x Pump***** Conclusion *****So far, Iâm pretty pleased with this product from Vacbird.The bags seem to be of a good thickness and the plastic has quite a strong feel to it.I really like the double zipper as it helps to create a good seal and prevent air from entering the bags and I like the selection of different sizes. The larger bags are great for bedding or jumpers and coats, whilst the smaller bags are perfect for t-shirts.The included electric pump is a nice addition and much easier and quicker to use than the manual ones you often get with these types of product, although I usually use the hoover anyway.Time will tell how well these bags last and hopefully theyâll be as good as our last lot which would make the £19.99 asking price pretty decent value for money.

Good quality set – pump included too
These are a good deal for the bags alone: with the added pump I think they’re a bargain. If you’ve used them before you’ll know how they work, and you’ll also know what a nuisance it is to have to keep getting the vacuum cleaner out every time you want to seal something up. This does away with all that nonsense by including a dedicated vacuum pump that’s about the same size as a tin of beans. It’s very easy to use and sucks the air out quickly, so you’ll be able to do a full set in next to no time.The bags aren’t the thickest you can get, but as you get plenty of them you shouldn’t need to overfill them. That’s what seems to cause the others I’ve had to fail, so in the case of these I think I’ll use them all up rather than try and cram as much stuff in as possible.They’re a great deal and you’ll be able to keep your clothes clean and fresh for just a small investment. If you remember that you also now have a pump, all you need to do is buy more bags to go with it. For the price you’re getting a lot of storage space.Highly recommended.

In my home, there are never enough vacuum bags, so I was delighted when Amazon gave the opportunity to give these a try. For anyone short on storage space, these are just the ticket for compacting fabrics (clothes, bedding, cushions, etc) that need to be kept tidied away for another time.This set offers fair value for money. At the time of review, they cost £19.99, which seems a bit steep for only 8 bags (2 each of 4 sizes).The variety of sizes is good â small, medium, large, and extra large â which makes organising things so much easier than just stuffing everything into one giant bag.I’m impressed with how sturdy the bags feel, and getting a super tight seal on them is surprisingly hassle-free, which is key for keeping everything compact. And, so far, none of the bags has been a dud. Usually there is at least one bag that doesnât seal correctly, and slowly, slowly, slowly reinflates over a matter of days.The included pump is a convenient addition, though nowhere near as effective or speedy as using a vacuum cleaner (or electric pump).Honestly, if you’re looking to save some storage space, these vacuum bags are doing a super job so far, and I’m very happy with them!
