Really pleased with our purchase of the Varicart GU10 LED Lights.We had standard White LED lights in our bathroom, and they were very bright and had no control over them except just on/offWe wanted something that we could control the brightness, just to set the mood if having a relaxing bath for example. So after looking at a few on Amazon, we settled for these and are extremely happy with them. We opted for the Cool White with RGB as these would give optimal lightning when needed. Not only can you dim them down, you can also have some fun with 11 extra colours including Green and Blue like in our photos. You can also set a timer, have the lights flashing, or put them on a slow cycle that goes through all the colours, creating different shades as it transformsVery easy to use with the supplied remote (we got an extra remote with our 4 pack that is great for a backup) and the best feature for me, is it remembers what setting you last had when you switch them off, either by the remote or your light switch.Really pleased with our purchase and would recommend

Excellent – great fun!
I got this for my 7-year old’s nightlight and she loves it! There’s a bright normal setting, if you want to read etc, and lots of individual colours. You can have a ‘disco’ setting, where the colours change distinctly (not as fast as a disco!), or another where they slowly fade into each other. The remote control is small and simple and came with a battery in it. Great fun!

Seem to work well hoping they last a good length of time.
Bought a box of 4 and they are quite bright and have good colour. If you have them close together than sometimes they all pick up on the signal but if you persist then you can get them to individually change colour. Not tried the timer function yet and I’ve only had them a day so will report back if they don’t last long.

So these do work pretty well, and fit nicely into my GU10 housing, and the bulbs do “just work” ie: there’s no complexity other than swapping bulbs ie: they’re easy to set upThey are reasonably priced and the fact that it has two remotes does help with connectivity but it would also be good if they had WiFi or zigbee too

THE GOOD – They come with two remotes. Ideal to split the pack between two places, with each room a different colour. Lots of brightness and colour choices and they can be full white too.THE BAD – After a year or two of use, some bulbs will start to flicker and fail. It’s very noticeable.
