Genius, something you never knew you needed
I bought these for soldering, to steady both hands, and you always find yourself using some makeshift elbow rest.
The gel is comfortable, but what exceeded my expectations was the nonslip backing. It stays steady even on a relatively glossy desk.

The description states that it’s 2,5cm thick, but sadly it’s only about 1,7… Not enough squish for a pointy elbow like mine, so I’m afraid I will have to return it. The product photos does look a lot thicker than the one I received, and there is one that says it has been updated… Did I receive old stock, perhaps? I expected top quality for â¬18, but sadly it fell flat, literally. ;(
