Effectively, this is a two-port switch
This splitter provides a budget solution to a little problem that many people face: how to connect two devices to a single Ethernet cable without buying a full-sized switch.I hadn’t realised such a gadget existed until I found the VCELINK and wish I’d come across it earlier.It’s small, so takes up little space, but works a treat.

Muy útil y versátil. Este switch te permite duplicar la señal de internet cuando usas un cable de Ethernet y lo hace de la forma más cómoda, sencilla y eficaz posible, ya que el cable Ethernet (con clavija RJ45) lo conectas al puerto de entrada del switch y obtienes inmediatamente dos salidas RJ45, por lo que puedes conectar dos dispositivos a la red en lugar de uno. En mi caso, tengo un PC de sobremesa en un altillo y la señal WIFI llega muy débil, por lo que llevo internet por cable de Ethernet CAT6. He puesto ahora además una Smart TV y como digo, la señal WIFI le llega mal. Con este switch he duplicado sin problemas la señal y llevo internet por cable a los dos (al PC y a la Smart) y va fenomenal, con una velocidad de transferencia cada salida de hasta 1000 Mbps y al mismo tiempo. Funciona de maravilla. No hay que hacer nada, sólo conectar los cables CAT y enchufar el switch a la corriente eléctrica (a un transformador de móvil). Inmediatamente funciona. El dispositivo te indica mediante luces verdes si está o no operativo. Y mediante luces amarillas te muestra si hay o no transmisión de datos. Todo muy bien.En cuanto a su construcción, es muy buena y elegante, en un aluminio de calidad muy pulido, muy agradable a la vista y al tacto. Es de excelente factura y fábrica. El paquete incluye además del switch un cable de carga (USB-A y USB-C) y unas instrucciones en inglés.Lo dicho, un muy buen y eficiente dispositivo. Hace todo lo que se le supone y lo hace perfectamente. Lo recomiendo sin lugar a dudas.

Ho deciso di provare questo switch soprattutto per comodità . Ho un router con solo due porte Ethernet libere: in una ho collegato la mia smart TV e nellâaltra il PC fisso. Utilizzo spesso anche il laptop e, fino ad ora, ogni volta dovevo scollegare il cavo dalla TV per poter usare entrambi i computer. This Ethernet Splitter replaces an 8 port switch that has been hogging diskspace at my computer desk. I have 2 computers that require wired connections at this spot so an 8 port switch was space overkill.The splitter is barely wider than 2 ethernet cables side by side. The splitter basically serves as a cable organizer behind my computer while providing a wired connection to 2 computers. The all aluminum build means it’ll take care of itself back there.I have noticed no drop in Internet speed and a big increase in desk space.
