Great value, good sound quality, robust.
For the money, this is great value. My son is just starting a YouTube channel and he wanted something to use for voiceover. For 12 quid this is perfect, sound quality is good, seems robust too, itâs been dropped and bashed a lot and still works. Easy to use, just press the button, light goes red and youâre off!

Neat cheap solution
This microphone is pretty good for its price, it plugs in well into PC. However, my PC marks it as unrecognised but it still works. That may be an issue for some users. It’s very easy to set up and use, and has considerably improved my audio quality from previous microphones.

Mute button causes it to disconnect from windows
Pressing the mute button actually causes it to disconnect from windows and it then vanishes causing my PC to switch to another input source. This makes the mute function useless

Even though it is advertised as multi directional mic its radius of pick up is poor and the Mic still sounds low in all settings unless held like a headset which defeants the purpose of the item. Still functional but do not expect it to pick up many speakers at once.

Fab Little Mic
Purchased this on a whim as my webcam microphone kept cutting out and I needed a replacement. Opted for this as it was such a bargain price. Have to say, it’s brilliant. Simply plugged in and off I went. I did a test call on Microsoft teams and my friend said the sound is very clear. No muffles no nothing.The base is very light, so if angled too far over, it has a tendency to fall, however it’s easily fixed if you just make it straighter with the actual microphone piece tilted. It becomes sturdier.The only negative for me so far is I tried to use the mute button on a work call, but that then disabled the microphone for the other person. It was showing in my settings that there was sound, but the other person wasn’t getting any sound until I hung up and called back. This could be just me doing something incorrect or not fixing my settings correctly therefore not enough to drop a star.To me, for the price, 5 stars is just what it deserves! I would highly recommend this to anybody.

Good mic for its price
Windows 11 instantly detected it when i plugged the usb in. The power button is very usefull to turn it off without need of disconnecting it.I’ve asked couple of people how they hear me during a call and all said that it’s crisp and clear which is nice given that i usually use it from a distance of 70-80 cm.The only problem occured for more than a month usage was that once the OS lost it as device and i had to reconnect it. But I’m not sure if it was caused by the OS or the mic

It works and is cheap.
The sound quality is adequate. The sensitivity is adequate. The base weight is inadequate (17g) and it topples over if the mic is angled out. I replaced the weight with 4 large washers (28g) and it now stands up. (The base can be removed by gently prying off.) The main downside of this mic is that the on/off button simply disconnects the USB cable. This means that windows takes about 10 seconds to load up the USB driver and activate the audio input. OK for disabling the mic for long periods but no good for any push to talk while gaming.The microphone I received is different to that shown in the photos. The internal weight shown in the exploded view is not present, just a small square lump. The metallic microphone gauze shown does not exists, just holes molded into the plastic. The “Anti-slip rubber pads” are just foam stickers. The listing states it contains a lithium ion battery – it does not. The listing states it has two channels, it does not, only one.

Ein sehr gutes Produkt. Jedoch muss ich immer wieder feststellen das es unter WIN 11 und Office 2019 nicht immer so recht will. Die diktierten Texte kommen teilweise sehr seltsam – keine logischen Worte rüber und wenn im Hintergrund ein anderes Geräusch ist, wird dieses auch eher wahrgenommen.Momentan kann ich nicht sagen ob es am Microfon oder am PC liegt. Beim Handy und Tablet und Android funktioniert das diktieren von Mails und Briefen ohne Probleme
