Several issues with this lens
Build quality is great.However, upon trying to update the firmware of this lens via the USB-C port it uses, The lens will not be recognised by any PC. I’ve tried Apple I’ve tried PC and several different versions of each. I tried different USB cables. The lens just will not be recognised by the computer for updating firmware. There doesn’t seem to be any customer support information about this.Secondly the LCD distance scale is of absolutely no use at all as The displayed focus distance is nowhere near the actual distance.Focusing to infinity does not actually give you infinity on this lens. That leaves me sceptical as to the accuracy and reliability of the autofocus. As a manual focus lens it would be fine but that’s not what I purchased!Image quality in manual focus is very good in fact but as an auto focus lens with an LCD display giving readout information these two aspects of this purchase are completely dysfunctional.I will be returning this lens and I’m quite sad to do so as the image quality is actually very good.

Had this for quite a few months now so I feel I can give an opinion on it.A cracking lense for the price and the results for my use are pretty dam good even compared to my other lenses (all Nikon Z)

Acquistato durante un’offerta, permette di avere un grandangolo spinto ad un prezzo relativamente contenuto.Molto nitido già a tutta apertura, dà il meglio di sè chiudendo di un paio di stop.Costruzione solida e robusta. L’obiettivo si presenta bello pesante, forse addirittura troppo.Viltrox è un brand che si sta facendo strada, spero di aver modo di provare altre ottiche in futuro.
